My name is Alinah Mampiti Thakhuli, and I am a passionate, hardworking, and dedicated university student currently completing my final year of a Bachelor of Science degree in Biochemistry and Chemistry at North-West University. Throughout my academic journey, I have developed strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, which have strengthened my ability to explain complex concepts in a simple and engaging way. Teaching has always been one of my greatest passions. I have gained valuable experience tutoring Mathematics and enjoy helping students build confidence, overcome challenges, and achieve their academic goals. I worked towards an undergraduate education degree where I qualified as a an educator, specialising in English. After working a year, I decided to apply for a part-time postgraduate degree in education, where I focused on learning about inclusive education and educational psychology. I also wrote a research paper about improving teaching strategies in the classroom. After deciding to move to France, I then took a course for how to teach English online to all age groups, from young children to adults. I also completed an advanced grammar and business English course. Currently, I'm teaching Cambridge English to young children and teenagers. I help students prepare for IGCES, GCSES and A levels. I also teach ESL to all age groups. At the moment, I am learning French and I'm currently on a B1 level in my language development.

I am an experienced maths tutor based in Glasgow. I received my maths degree from the University of Glasgow and have tutored and range of age groups from primary school age, through to high school and also undergraduate. I am passionate about learning and believe that learning is about enjoyment and practicality. I enjoy helping people succeed and ultimately seeing people become more confident within themselves. I have a honours degree in Mathematics and Economics from the University of Glasgow with a particular specialisation in applied mathematics and am currently working towards my second degree in Spanish and Latin American Studies from the University of Stirling.

I'm a Maths grad, currently working in the tech industry, having studied Maths, Physics and Chemistry at A-Level. Outside of work I'm a keen runner and hiker, who loves spending time outdoors outdoors or exploring London, and enjoys getting lost reading a great book! I attended Peter Symonds college for A-levels, where I took Maths, Further Maths, Physics and Chemistry. At Bath University I studied Mathematical Sciences, allowing me to dabble in physics while I focussed on Maths. Since university, I have studied again in Software Engineering and continue to learn constantly in my job.
