Hello, I'm Anum. I am currently a BSc Psychology student at Birmingham City University, and I have had 2 years of experience working in the field of education. During this time, I've had the privilege of working with students of various age groups and skill levels, from primary to secondary school. Hi! I’m a friendly and dedicated tutor who loves helping students build confidence and achieve their academic goals. Outside of tutoring, I’m a huge Manchester United fan — I try to catch as many games as possible and really enjoy the teamwork and strategy behind the sport. I’m also part of a competitive bhangra team, where we perform at events and competitions across the country. Being involved in bhangra has taught me valuable lessons in discipline, teamwork, and performing under pressure — qualities I bring to my tutoring sessions. When I’m not dancing or watching football, I’m a big Formula 1 fan. I love the blend of precision, strategy, and constant improvement involved in the sport. To stay active and clear my mind, I enjoy swimming, which helps me stay focused and refreshed. Recently, I’ve started learning to play the guitar, picking up my favourite songs one at a time. It is a selective grammar school and consistently ranks in the top 5 grammar schools in the country. I am now studying at Kings College London University as a 2nd year medical student.
