Hey! I am a recent graduate from the University of York who loves to help people discover new ways of learning and make exams less intimidating and stressful. My sessions focus on building a concise bank of notes based on the appropriate specification and applying this knowledge to exam style questions. I love reading, science, pop culture, travelling and history. I also love helping other people learn and find joy in gaining knowledge and school :) I have recently graduated with a First-Class (Hons) degree from the University of York. I also have 4 A-levels which consist of an A* in Biology, Chemistry and History and an A in an EPQ. Furthermore I have 11 GCSEs which I achieved grades 7-9 in. My teaching experience consists of 5 years of private academic tutoring in various subjects at various levels.

Hi! I'm Izy, and I recently completed my degree in Applied Linguistics at the University of Warwick - BA Language, Culture and Communication. I previously tutored younger children at my high school, and have since taught ESL in Peru, Ecuador and Mexico. I thoroughly enjoy both teaching English as a second language, and tutoring English subjects in the UK. I completed A-Levels in History, English Language and Maths (A*A*A), and am hoping to work as a paediatric Speech and Language therapist, after completing my Masters. I am competent in AQA Exam Boards. At University I competed at an international level for music, and really enjoy reading and learning new languages in my free time! I am currently obtaining my 120-hour TEFL certificate, as well as my Level 2 Understanding Autism qualification. I attended a state school, receiving eight grade 9s, and two grade 8s at GCSE, and A*A*A at A-Level (History, English Language, Maths). I recently graduated from the University of Warwick with a 1st Class BA Hons in Language, Culture and Communication (Applied Linguistics), completing a dissertation in phonetics & phonology.

My name is Arcel, and I’m 29 years old. I'm a Math teacher but I can also teach Science (Biology & Chemistry) and Sociology. I like also playing basketball and guitar—two activities that allow me to express myself creatively and stay active. Whether it’s on the basketball court or playing my favorite songs, I enjoy the challenge and the connections these hobbies bring. I graduated with a Bachelor of Secondary Education, majoring in Mathematics (BSED-Math) from Northern Mindanao Colleges Inc. in April 2016. Shortly after, I successfully passed the licensure examination for teachers in September 2016. Currently, I am furthering my education by pursuing a Master’s degree in Teaching Mathematics. My passion for mathematics and my dedication to education drive me to help students discover the beauty and relevance of the subject. Teaching is a profession I am deeply committed to, as I believe it is through education that I can make a lasting impact on students' lives. My goal as an educator is not only to help students master mathematical concepts but also to inspire them to develop a genuine interest in the subject. I understand that many students find math challenging, which is why I believe that patience and the right approach are key to helping them overcome obstacles. With a supportive learning environment, students can build confidence and come to appreciate math as a tool for critical thinking and problem-solving.
