My name is Karima! I currently study an Economics degree at Swansea University and achieved A-Levels in Biology, Chemistry and Economics. I have been tutoring for over 5 years and enjoy being able to transfer my knowledge to others whilst instilling within them why their education is so important. I attained 10 grade 7-9s at GCSE in Business, History and Drama, and progressed to study A-Levels in Biology, Chemistry, and Economics. I tutored English Language, Reading, KS2, KS3 and 11+ content on the side. I am currently studying BsC Economics at Swansea University.

I’m a chemistry student who loves literature, music and all things mathematical (especially when combined with physics!) I started tutoring 2 years ago part time while studying at college. My favourite things to do include travelling and playing with my dogs. I’m currently an offer holder at the University of Edinburgh for an integrated masters in Chemistry. Welcome to my profile. I teach 11+, GCSE Science (physics, chemistry, and biology), and Mathematics. I use notes and revision resources that have been carefully tailored to each student's specific needs. With their exam board content, revision/practice questions, and particularly repeated past papers, I have been able to instill confidence, critical thinking, and a genuine understanding of the subject in all of my students while ensuring they enjoy the process. I look forward to beginning this journey with you. I have over 4 years (1000+ hours) of experience teaching these subjects: GCSE Science (Biology, Chemistry, Physics), Mathematics, and 11+. I hold a Bachelor of Engineering (B.Eng.) in Mechanical Engineering and an international teaching certificate (TESOL). I bring both academic expertise and practical teaching experience to my lessons. Having achieved top grades (A**) in GCSE Mathematics, Physics, and Biology, I understand the challenges students face and tailor my teaching to help them succeed. I create a friendly and interactive learning space where everyone feels comfortable. This helps build confidence and ensures that students really understand the important concepts they need to reach their academic goals.

I am a Maths teacher with 4 years of experience. I studied Mathematics at the University of Reading, and earned my PGCE there too. I have worked with 3 GCSE classes to achieve their required grades in Mathematics and Numeracy. I am also able to teach A level Mathematics and Further Mathematics, and have worked with one AS level class on their applied work in these areas. I studied BSc Mathematics at the University of Reading and achieved a 2:1 in 2021. I then went on to complete my PGCE in Secondary Education at the same university. I have completed a module at The Open University for my Masters in Education and will be completing the final module in the academic year 2026/27.
