I am currently a student studying Electrical and Computer Engineering at the University of Nottingham. I passed A-Level Mathematics, Physics and Computer Science with an A,B,B respectively. In my spare time, I enjoy reading, playing basketball and practicing my violin and piano. I've also participated many workshops to do with communication which has increased my public speaking and collaboration skills. For secondary school I attended King Edwards VI Handsworth Grammar School for Boys. I left with 11 GCSE's with an 8 in Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Religious Studies and a 7 in English Literature and Language, French and Business. For Sixth Form I attended the University of Birmingham School for 2 years. I left with an A,B,B in Mathematics, Physics and Computer Science respectively.

Hi there! I’m Zuzanna, and I’m excited to be your tutor. I hold a degree in Microbiology and a Master’s in Immunology and Infectious Disease, and I currently work in a microbiology laboratory. I’m passionate about education, science, languages, and travel, and I bring that excitement and curiosity straight into my lessons. Levels & Subjects I Teach: GCSE: Science (Biology, Chemistry), English (Language) A-Level: Biology 11+ Exam Board Experience: AQA, Edexcel, OCR Languages: English – Native Polish – Fluent French – Conversational Preferred Student Age Group: PRIMARY, GCSE I have delivered A-Level practical endorsement sessions, mentored a Level 3 Laboratory Technicians, and supported students as a career coach. I have also worked with students with ADHD, autism and dyslexia, adapting lessons to suit different learning styles and creating a calm, encouraging environment. My lessons are structured, interactive, and exam-focused, but never dry! I use clear explanations, active recall, and targeted past-paper practice with mark scheme analysis to help students maximise marks. Challenging topics are broken down into simple steps with diagrams and quizzes, while we refine exam technique and answer structure. I’m flexible and work closely with each student to tailor lessons to their individual goals.

Outside of teaching and studying, I’m someone who loves exploring the world in every sense. I love to travel, always looking for the next hidden city street, quiet coastal path, or mountain trail to wander. I love experiences that spark curiosity and offer new perspectives, which are some qualities I bring into my lessons, too. I’m also a keen reader and lifelong learner, with a love for books on psychology, inclusive education, and modern fiction. To stay active, I enjoy yoga and long walks, which help me recharge and stay mindful, and I’m always up for trying new creative outlets, whether that’s experimenting with photography, cooking dishes from around the world, or learning a new skill just for fun. Music is another big part of my life; I love discovering new artists and curating playlists for different moods and adventures. These interests not only keep life exciting but also influence the way I connect with students: by staying curious, open-minded, and passionate about learning in all its forms. My name is Ellie, and I am a student at Newcastle University. Despite studying Accounting and Finance, I still love all things English and Maths. Whether I'm doing cryptic crosswords or sudokus, I believe that challenging your brain is the most entertaining activity.
