My name is Mustafa, I’m 19 years old and an aspiring medical student with a strong passion for science and learning. I enjoy studying and teaching subjects like biology, chemistry, and mathematics because I love helping others understand complex ideas in simple ways. Outside of academics, I’m dedicated to fitness and spend a lot of time training at the gym to improve both my body and discipline. I’m also currently learning Swedish, as I enjoy exploring different languages and cultures. I’m always working to grow, improve, and move closer to my goals every day. I studied in England and successfully completed my GCSEs with the grades 9,9,8,8,8,7,7,6,4. After that, I continued my education at the well-known Loreto Sixth Form College, where I completed my A-Levels in Biology, Chemistry, and Mathematics. My academic journey has strengthened both my scientific understanding and my work ethic. I am currently taking a gap year to gain experience, continue developing my skills, and prepare myself for the next step in my path toward studying medicine.

I am a Qualified Teacher with over 20 years of experience teaching Mathematics to students of all levels. Experience with: Key Stage 3, Key Stage 4, GCSE Maths Exam Prep, Special Need,11+ ,13+ Exam Board Experience: I can work with any exam board. Edexcel, AQA, OCR (most material is common to all exam boards). I am currently working as a Mathematics teacher at a school in the U.K. In my previous roles, I taught mathematics and coding. I have also tutored students at various levels, from elementary school to college. I am very well aware of the Mathematics curriculum and always look for new and engaging ways to teach it. I am passionate about helping students learn and committed to providing them with the best possible education. I am proficient in English I hold a Master of Technology (M.Tech.) in Mathematics & Computer Science with Honors. I teach senior high school mathematics at all levels, from foundational to advanced. With years of experience as a government tax specialist and roles as a system analyst, programmer, and statistician in IT, I transitioned to teaching, which has always been my passion. I began tutoring in college to support my expenses and discovered the rewarding challenge of working with a student with dyscalculia. Through tailored strategies and building strong rapport, she succeeded. My diverse background has made me resourceful and innovative, enhancing my effectiveness in both teaching and problem-solving. I hold a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics from St. Scholastica’s College, Manila, where I completed challenging courses such as Calculus, Statistical Analysis, Number Theory, and Linear Algebra. I also pursued post-graduate studies in Mathematics Education at the Polytechnic University of the Philippines, focusing on educational strategies and child development, with research on learning disabilities. Although I couldn’t complete my thesis due to budget constraints, I am skilled in teaching all levels of mathematics, including Algebra, Trigonometry, Geometry, Statistics, and Business Mathematics.

I am able to best cater to my student's needs, goals, and levels and work out a plan to help them reach their goals and beyond. I teach with patience and do not move on till my students understand what I am teaching. I am able to have a good holistic overview of the topics I teach and equip my students with the best tips to help make the subject easier. I am a quick learner and understand the steps to learning that one must take to learn efficiently. Communication and understanding are my strengths, hence why my students are able to grasp the concepts of topics well. I follow a step-by-step process and teach with patience, taking in the request of parents and the needs of the student. I am currently a Business & Management student at Royal Holloway, University of London. Aside from academics, my interests widely range from music, dance, sports, and reading. When I find interest in something, I try to learn and teach myself as I have with dance and the Korean language. I have high expectations for myself and encourage my students to do the same for themselves. I am also told to have a very easy going personality so I have a great rapport with my students and they find me easy to communicate with and ask me questions. Alongside my A-Levels, I have completed an EPQ in which I earned a B. The question of my research was about meditation, its benefits, and whether it should be made obligatory in school settings. It included investigating, collecting, and summarising primary data and as well as an initiation to implement meditation in my school as part of the well-being program. It gave good results and also spread awareness of this very beneficial practice. Other than that, I have attended courses on leadership as well.
