My name is Samhita Andhavarapu and I'm a 1st year med student studying abroad! I did Maths, Chemistry and Biology at A-level I will be teaching A-Level Maths and Biology I have some experience in teaching both subjects when I used to mentor some students in high school with GCSE maths and Biology I am determined to prepare well before the class. Therefore, I will try to adapt my teaching style to the students needs and based on the best way that they learn. I got A's in both subjects at A-Level I got A's in Maths and Biology at A-Level. I received a 7 in GCSE Biology and a 9 in GCSE Maths and Further Maths. As I am now studying medicine at university I feel like my level of knowledge for Biology and Maths is strong. However, if I do not know something I will be prepared to learn and then help my student understand the concept of the topic.

Computer scientist and Human-Computer Interaction researcher with interests in qualitative research. This has naturally led me down the path of sociology. Besides this, I am an adept tutor GCSE Mathematics to bilingual students to help them achieve their goals. I attended Rochdale Sixth Form College. Here, I achieved an A in mathematics. I received an unconditional offer to study at the University of York, where I completed a BSc in Computer Systems. I specialised in Human-Computer Interaction, Qualitative Research methodologies, and User Experience research methods.

ABOUT ME I have a deep interest in history, human and physical geography, anthropology, technology, architecture and engineering. I especially enjoy the history and geography of languages and language families. I'm into all sorts of things if I'm honest. I am a keen traveller (but who isn't nowadays), audiophile and technophile, with a love for all kinds of technologies, analogue and digital, new and old. Thanks to COVID I learnt a lot of DIY skills through necessity. My house also has a garden full of fruit trees, so I guess that would make me an amateur gardener by default. I try to keep fit by cycling when possible, but my favourite sport is swimming. TEACHING EXPERIENCE/PREFERENCES The subjects I teach are History, English Literature and Language for GCSE and A-level, as well as ESL English. I tend to teach students aged 14+, so from Year 9 to Year 13 or more mature students for ESL, but I do have a few students younger than this. I use a variety of teaching approaches, ranging from traditional methods of text analysis to modern forms of teaching, such as interactive quizzes, questionnaires and even YouTube videos if they benefit the students learning style. Exam Board Experience: Experience of all English assessment boards, but especially AQA and Edexcel in the, and WJEC/Eduqas and OCR to a lesser extent. Languages: English: as a first language to advanced/professional level. Turkish: fluent to college level, but nor advanced enough for teaching purposes.

Hi! I am Hannah, a friendly, approachable English tutor with a Masters in English Literature from Queen Mary University, London. I take a positive, non-judgemental, uplifting approach to teaching - no questions are silly questions and I am passionate about helping my students gain confidence within themselves. I happily adjust my sessions to fit students needs, explaining things as little or as many times as they need in a patient and understanding way. After getting an A* in my A-LeveI English, my teachers prompted me to study English Literature BA at Anglia Ruskin University. I covered a vast variety of literature there and progressed my analytical and critical thinking skills. I specialised in Victorian Poetry during my MA, which I loved. I have a comprehensive understanding of English Literature and how to achieve top grades - this combined with my confidence-boosting, fun style of teaching has helped my past students excel in their exams and actually enjoy the subject, from primary age through to A-Level.
