My name is Mashika, and I am a civil engineer and a have also worked as a middle school and high school teacher at Villa Grimani International School. I have a robust educational background that includes a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering and a Master's degree in Complex Systems Engineering that I am currently pursuing. Additionally, I am passionate about child psychology and have read extensively on the subject to deepen my understanding of how children learn. This has truly shaped my teaching style which involves alot of interactive discussions and problem solving which in turn leads to increased self confidence and reasoning ability in students. Throughout my teaching journey, I have had the privilege of tutoring students of different ages and backgrounds in subjects such as Math, Chemistry, and Biology. This experience has strengthened my teaching skills, especially when it comes to understanding different student learning styles. My names Sonique and I am currently in my second year of studying Dentistry at the University of Manchester. I attended a grammar school where I studied A-level Biology, Chemsitry and Mathematics and achieved A*AA in these subjects. My journey in education has equipped me with the knowledge and skills needed to make learning engaging and effective. I enjoy helping students grasp challening concepts and achieve their academic goals. I tailor each lesson and my teaching methods to the individual student to fit the students needs and maximise learning efficicency. I have attended a grammar school from year 7 to 13. I teach Sociology and Media Studies at all Levels including GCSE, A-Level including IB curriculum and exam boards such as AQA, Edexcel, 11+ and Cambridge International. I also teach Spanish to adult students at different levels. My teaching philosophy is shaped by my academic background in anthropology and interest in how cultures influence the production of knowledge.
