I'm 22 and from Leeds. I've tutored maths for 4 years from Ks2 to A-level. I went from a grade E to A at A-level by finding a learning style that worked for me outside of the classroom and want to help more students do the same! In my spare time, I enjoy boxing and playing piano. I also love football (unfortunately a Man Utd fan!) I studied at the University of Leeds for 3 years between 2021 and 2024. I studied an Bachelor's degree in Business Management. Prior to this I studied Business, PE and maths at A-level getting A* A* A respectively. I achieved a grade 8 in maths at GCSE.

Hi! I'm Olivia and I am a 4th year Mechanical Engineering student at the University of Strathclyde. I chose this degree as I'm passionate about Maths and Physics, taking both up to Advanced Higher level while at secondary school. I'm focused right now on tutoring up to GCSE level or equivalent. I have experience tutoring up to this level in both Maths and Physics through a programme led by my university. I also have experience working with younger children as a football coach to girls aged 5-9 at Queens Ladies and Girls Football Club. Outside of my studies I enjoy running, travelling and reading to name just a few interests. In terms of lessons, I tend to tailor each lesson and teaching method to each pupil. I mostly use worksheets to reinforce knowledge and build students' confidence in their chosen subject. I will also set quizzes prior to each lesson for the student to complete to allow me to understand how they have progressed since the last lesson. I am a 4th year Mechanical Engineering student at the University of Strathclyde. Since beginning my studies, I have developed my analytical and problem-solving skills studying subjects such as thermodynamics, programming, structural mechanics and dynamics to name but a few. My Name is teacher Nomi, I have been tutoring local students for almost 2 years now I assist students from as young as 6 years old and adults as well, I have been focusing on tutoring English and Business studies. I am very passionate about assisting students reach their learning goals, I create a comfortable learning environment for my students which makes it easier and fun to learn I have completed my national diploma in business management at Rosebank College South Africa and I have also obtained my 120 hours TEFL Certificate. I have been focusing mainly on tutoring English and Business studies to the local students in my community I also assist the grade 12 learners to prepare for their exams.
