Hello, I'm Sophie, a third year Undergraduate student studying Modern Languages at University. I have an enthusiasm for languages and genuinely enjoy sharing my knowledge with others. Hello! My name is Daher Salameh and I'm a mechanical engineer. I have a master's degree in mechanical engineering and currently work as an R&D engineer. I always had a passion for teaching and valued education a lot, as it's our tool to build a better future for ourselves and keep moving forward as individuals and as a society. My area of expertise in teaching is mainly Math and Physics (but also taught other subjects), and I have more than 5 years of experience in this field. Moreover, I have gained extensive experience in the AQA, Edexcel, and OCR exam boards. Throughout the years, I have learned to deliver concepts to my students in ways they have never seen before — that I believe are interesting — which encourages them to learn. I always try to present the physical significance behind every concept, the intuition behind the formulas, and the relation of everything academic to its real life counterpart. I hope you'll learn from and enjoy my lessons because I certainly enjoy giving them! I have completed a BSc in mechanical engineering in 2022, then an MSc in applied mechanics and thermal sciences in 2025. I have done extensive work in the fields of dynamics, simulation, software development, and AI. Apart from working in those fields, I like working on cars, doing calisthenics, and solving puzzles like the Rubik's cube.

I am a qualified teacher with 4 years of experience in teaching English. I currently teach Grade 1 learners in South Africa. I believe that learning should be fun and encourage a holistic development. I enjoy reading and hiking. I also enjoy trying out different kinds of food. I completed my matric at Wordsworth High school, thereafter I enrolled for Hospitality Studies at the International Hotel School and graduated in 2017. I further enrolled at the University of KwaZulu Natal for my BEd Degree and specialized in the Foundation Phase. I am currently a Foundation Phase teacher and teach Grade 1 learners. I am also currently studying for my Honors Degree at the University of Pretoria specializing in Learner Support.
