I would describe myself as patient, approachable, and motivated and understand that every student faces challenges in their own way, so I always try to create a supportive environment where they feel comfortable asking questions and pushing themselves further. Hi! I'm Sue, and I recently graduated from university with a 2:1 degree in English Language. I'm passionate about creative writing, reading, music and academic writing and am excited for the opportunity to share my passion with others. I love going to the gym, training in martial arts, reading fiction books and listening to music. I believe in letting students direct the learning and tailoring my teaching to their needs, skills and abilities. I am empathetic and understanding towards children and young people with SEND and believe that these should not be barrier to learning and that with the right tools and resources in place every child can thrive. I attended the University of Liverpool and graduated with a 2:1 in English Language in July 2025. I studied A Level English Language, Sociology and Philosophy at Carmel College in St Helens, where I achieved an A* in English Language and Bs in Sociology and Philosophy. I also passed my GCSEs, achieving a 4 in Maths, a 7 in English Literature and a 6 in English Language.
