Hi! I’m currently studying a maths engineering degree at university and I can’t wait to use the skills I’ve learned to help students with maths and science. I understand what it’s like to struggle with a STEM subject, so I approach my tutoring from a place of patience and sympathy. When a student doesn’t understand a concept, I focus on finding out exactly what piece of the puzzle they are missing, and will re-explain the idea in a way that works for them, as everyone learns differently! For secondary school I attended South Hampstead High School and took my GCSE’s and A Levels there. For my GCSEs I received a nine in maths, English literature , all three sciences, geography and computer science, and an eight in French, art and English Language. For my A levels I received an A star in maths, further maths and physics, and an A in computer science. Currently I’m loving studying an Engineering Mathematics degree at the University of Bristol and I just completed my first year. I’m set to do an integrated masters there as well.

Hi Shaun here, I am a Grammar school student and having done the 11+ myself find comfortable in tutoring students taking the 11+ in addition to those in Years 7-11, as my main strengths are in Mathematics, Biology, Chemistry and Physics. I did take Biology and Chemistry for my A levels and have achieved A grades in all these subjects. I am currently a medical undergraduate student working towards my Medical Degree. I was a Grammar School student having completed my GCSEs and A-Levels before I moved on to University. I am currently a Medical undergraduate student. For my GCSEs I achieved grade 9 in Math, Biology and Physics, grade 8 in Geography and Chemistry and grade 7 in both English literature, language, History and Spanish. For my A-Levels I achieved grade A for Biology and Chemistry. Towards my university admission process for medicine I took the UCAT test having achieved a score of 3060 placing me in the top 3% of UCAT test takers in the country for that year.

Hi! I'm a student at the University of Bristol studying a degree in Mathematics and Physics. Studying maths at a degree level means I am constantly working with complex mathematical concepts everyday, and I plan to bring that depth of understanding when tutoring GSCE and A-level Maths. I have around a year experience in tutoring GSCE Maths, which has helped me develop a clear and effective teaching style. Also, having completed my A-levels during 2025 summer and achieving an A and also a grade 8 in GSCE Mathematics, I have a strong understanding of exam content and also effective advice for revision, ensuring student success in exams. I focus on breaking down hard topics into simple clear explanations , helping to build understanding, student confidence and also exam technique through practice. I will tailor each lesson based on the students individual needs, ensuring they feel supported and make progress. Hello. I'm Debs, nice to meet you. I tutor a range of subjects, all based on experience of teaching within school, college and less tradiitional settings. I love tutoring one to one as that is the best way to give the student exactly what they need. I teach Sociology, Business and English at GCSE and A level and I have experience of AQA and Edexcel exam boards. I have also taught Btec Business level 1-3 In 2023 I completed a Master's degree in Philosophy as I love learning new things just as much as I love to teach. I make learning fun wherever possible and tailor every lesson to the student's needs. I use a variety of methods so you won't get bored and I am always happy to answer questions and re-explain things. There's no such thing as a silly question! I appreciate people who try, no matter what their ability is, and i love seeing people achieve things that they never dreamed they could. Let me help you do that.
