Hi! My name is Amy and I’m currently studying Maths and Philosophy at the University of Leeds. I am a Maths tutor aiming to help students between KS2 and GCSE level to enjoy and understand Maths. Beyond studying, I have a passion for dancing and love to perform on stage. When I am not dancing, I also love to solve puzzles and riddles. Initially, I attended All Saints Primary School. Then, I went to Greenbank High School and received 11 GCSEs with grades ranging from 7-9. I took a mix of GCSE subjects from Dance and Drama to History and Further Maths. After High School, I attended Runshaw College. I completed A-levels in Maths, Psychology and English Literature and earned grades AAC. I also completed an AS-level in Further Maths and earned a grade C. I am currently completing a BSc Maths and Philosophy honours degree programme at the University of Leeds. I have completed my second year and will hopefully be graduating in the summer of 2026.

I am a medical student at UCL with a strong academic background, having achieved A* grades at A-level in Maths, Biology, and Chemistry. I have a genuine passion for teaching and enjoy helping students understand challenging concepts in a clear and structured way. Hello! I am a dual Australian-British national and a recent graduate with a Bachelor of Laws and Master of Laws. Having lived in four different countries, I understand the unique challenges and experiences of international students—something I bring into my tutoring approach with empathy and flexibility. In April, I had the rewarding opportunity to volunteer in Switzerland, where I taught English to children learning it as a second language. This experience deepened my understanding of ESL (English as a Second Language) learning needs, so if you're an ESL student, I can support you in building both fluency and confidence in your written and spoken English.
