Hi! My name is Amy and I’m currently studying Maths and Philosophy at the University of Leeds. I am a Maths tutor aiming to help students between KS2 and GCSE level to enjoy and understand Maths. Beyond studying, I have a passion for dancing and love to perform on stage. When I am not dancing, I also love to solve puzzles and riddles. Initially, I attended All Saints Primary School. Then, I went to Greenbank High School and received 11 GCSEs with grades ranging from 7-9. I took a mix of GCSE subjects from Dance and Drama to History and Further Maths. After High School, I attended Runshaw College. I completed A-levels in Maths, Psychology and English Literature and earned grades AAC. I also completed an AS-level in Further Maths and earned a grade C. I am currently completing a BSc Maths and Philosophy honours degree programme at the University of Leeds. I have completed my second year and will hopefully be graduating in the summer of 2026.

I'm a medical student with 8+ years tutoring (A level / GCSE,). My expertise in chemistry / biology / maths. I have lots of experience in teaching humanity subjects such as English, sociology, and history. * Only AS chemistry and maths * I teach students at varying levels so it's important to adapt and adjust accordingly. If you're a visual learner, let's draw. If you're an auditory learner, let's discuss. If you're a note taker, let's learn the best note taking method for you! I do, however, encourage all my students to engage in spaced repetition learning. Whether we schedule that in during our sessions or if we use anki, this is probably the most important method of retaining information. I am passionate about teaching. I adapt my teaching style to each student's unique learning ability. My classes are fun, engaging, and interactive. I am very passionate and friendly with all my interactions. I love seeing my students learn and become the best possible version of themselves. I have a Bachelor of Arts degree in English. I majored in theory of literature and creative writing. I also have a communications and media diploma I obtained in Australia. I have worked as a parent advisor for deaf and or hard of hearing children. And I have also learned to identify ADD and ADHD.

Hi. I'm Ade, and I have been tutoring successfully for over 7 years now, with over 100 students (over 3 years on GoStudent with over 40 students), Grades 7 to 12, GCSE, and A-Levels. I have a Bachelors degree in Geophysics, a Post Graduate Diploma (PGD) in Education, and I'm currently doing a 2nd Degree in Mathematics. I keep my lessons simple, with a focus on consistent practice. I also tailor my lessons to fit the student and get the best out of them. Simply put, I help you understand the foundations of the concepts you're trying to learn, and we'll do lots of practice. I specialize in building students skill and confidence in facing and solving problems. I'm pretty good at it because I am always learning new things myself, so I never forget what it's like be a semi-beginner, and I tend to relate very well with my students experience. This helps me communicate very effectively and support them unconditionally, all the while holding them to high expectations (based on their ability). I am a learner, and I am very good at helping others learn. I look forward to hearing from you! I obtained my first degree in the physical sciences: a Bachelors degree in Geophysics. Afterwards, I obtained a Post Graduate Diploma in Education (PGDE) to hone my skills in helping others learn and achieve their academic goals. I am currently pursuing a 2nd degree in Mathematics.
