I’m Aysha, a dental student and tutor who enjoys turning tricky topics into clear, simple steps. I’m keen on helping students build confidence and discover their strengths. Outside tutoring, I’m into music, staying active, and spending time with friends. I attended William Hulmes Grammar School until year 10 and Bacup and Rawtenstall Grammar School for my GCSE’s and A-Levels. For A-Levels, I studied; Mathematics, Biology and Chemistry. I am currently studying Dental Medicine abroad in Sofia, Bulgaria and am in my third year here.

I am a recent graduate of Biochemistry from the University of York where I got a 2:1. I have 3 A* A Levels in Biology, Chemistry and Maths. I have experience of tutoring students doing GCSEs and A Levels and I strongly believe in the importance of understanding concepts completely so that they can be applied instead of rote memorisation. I have a strong passion for the sciences and maths and believe in their importance for understanding and moving through the world as well as becoming resilient to misinformation and misunderstanding. I attended St George's school where I got 10 GCSEs including 9s in Biology, Chemistry, Physics and English Language and an 8 in Maths. I then earned 3 A*s in Biology, Chemistry and Maths. I then attended the University of York studying Biochemistry where I attained a 2:1.

I like to teach in a fun and relaxed environment focusing on giving assignments each week to confirm understanding of the session. I also go through past exam questions as part of my tutoring session to start preparing students to answer questions in a certain manner from day one so they can utilize the maximum number of marks. I hold an MPharm degree with Upper Second Class Honours from Kingston University, where my research on nanoparticle formulation was published and accepted by the American Association of Scientists. I subsequently completed a Postgraduate Diploma in Clinical Pharmacy with Healthcare and Leadership at the University of Exeter, achieving a Distinction, and a Postgraduate qualification in Technical Services and Quality Assurance at the University of Manchester, also with Distinction. Most recently, I completed an Independent Prescribing qualification at the University of Leicester, specialising in the management of adult asthma. My academic training has provided a strong foundation across clinical pharmacy, prescribing practice, quality assurance, leadership, and pharmaceutical services

Hi! I’m Ann — a second-year medical student who loves painting, reading, and (recently) horse riding. I’m someone who genuinely enjoys learning new things, but I also understand how tough studying can feel when you’re stuck, stressed, or unsure where to start. That’s a huge part of why I tutor — I want to make learning feel lighter, clearer, and way less overwhelming. I’m not the type of tutor who just reads off a screen or throws information at you. I like to explain things in a simple, friendly way, break topics down into small steps, and make sure you actually understand the idea, not just memorise it. Everyone learns differently, so I always adjust the pace and style to whatever works best for you. If you’re someone who loses motivation, gets anxious about exams, or feels like certain subjects just “don’t make sense,” don’t worry — I’ve been there too. We’ll work through it together until you feel confident. I’m patient, supportive, and I’ll never make you feel bad for not knowing something. That’s literally what I’m here for. I really want my students to feel comfortable, motivated, and proud of themselves. I love seeing someone go from “I don’t get this at all” to “wait… that actually makes sense now!” It’s the best part of tutoring. I achieved all A* in chemistry, biology and maths at GCSEs, and an A in biology for A-level through my time as a student I developed effective study techniques, which I use to support students in their learning.
