Hi! I’m Amarachi, a Chemical Engineering student at the University of Nottingham. I teach Chemistry, Physics, and Maths, and I’m passionate about making these subjects engaging and easy to understand. As a patient, adaptable, and enthusiastic tutor, I enjoy helping students build confidence and achieve their academic goals. My name is Liezle. I am currently pursuing a career in science as a trainee laboratory assistant within the biochemistry and chemistry fields. Additionally, I’ve run my own business, taught middle school in Asia, and for a few years exercised my creative muscle as a fashion assistant. Anything outdoor involving wine and food with a friend, or a lazy day at the ocean or hanging around in a shopping mall is a good day. I truly love science. I am passionate about learning new things and applying my knowledge to real-world problems. I am always eager to collaborate with others and contribute to the advancement of scientific research, testing and analytical thinking! I am a 3rd year student at the University of South Africa; I am pursuing a Bachelor of Science with a focus on biochemistry and chemistry. Hi! I’m Mehmood, 19 years old and currently studying medicine (MBBS) at Hull York Medical School. While I absolutely love studying, I have many other passions that burn just as brightly — I’m into sports, gym, and cycling, and I’m always open to trying new ones! Some cool facts about me: I speak English, Pashto and Urdu. Also, I have a 4-year-old tabby cat called Misty, and I’m one of six siblings! I’d describe myself as calm, composed, and confident—and I’m excited to share my tips and tricks to help others rise to the top of their academics. I attended St. Peter's RC High School in Gorton, where I studied separate sciences, business, geography, religious studies, and core subjects, achieving 6 grade 9s and 3 grade 8s. I then studied biology, psychology, and chemistry at Loreto Sixth Form College, earning A*AB in my A-levels. During my medical school application, I achieved a UCAT score of 2750 Band 1, securing four medical school interviews and ultimately firming Hull York Medical School—where I am currently studying medicine (MBBS). Alongside my academic journey, I’ve been a private tutor for the past two years, helping students build confidence and achieve top grades in science and math. I also completed a 3-week teaching internship at COOP Academy, delivering science lessons to Year 8 and 9 students. Additionally, I’ve gained valuable clinical experience working in GP practices and hospital settings, consulting with patients and developing strong communication and empathy skills.
