The reason I chose to study this because it included using a lot of technical and problem-solving methods, it also included a lot of Mathematics which was one of my favourite subjects at school. I would say Algebra is one of my strong areas and I completed the Level 3 Edexcel Algebra award in secondary school. When I teach I primarily use a lot of worksheets and exam-style questions which will help the student improve on the subject and feel better prepared for any upcoming exams. If a student is struggling to understand a concept , I use diagrams, videos and allow them to have more practise until they are comfortable with the topics. I am a Masters degree from Leeds Conservatoire and a BA from The University of Birmingham. I have 5 years of experience tutoring, offering tutoring in English Literature, Language and Drama from KS3 to A Level. I am a motived and hardworking person with a love for teaching and helping students to reach their full potential. I received a MA with Merit in Musical Theatre Company from Leeds Conservatoire and I have a 2:1 in BA Drama and Theatre Arts from the University of Birmingham. Before studying at university I attended Wycombe High School for 6th Form achieve AAB in English, History and Drama. As well as a B in AS Level 3 Core Maths. I attended Claires Court school for my KS3 and GCSE education. Achieving 1 8, 3 7s, 4 6s and 2 5s.

I am a Maths teacher with 4 years of experience. I studied Mathematics at the University of Reading, and earned my PGCE there too. I have worked with 3 GCSE classes to achieve their required grades in Mathematics and Numeracy. I am also able to teach A level Mathematics and Further Mathematics, and have worked with one AS level class on their applied work in these areas. I studied BSc Mathematics at the University of Reading and achieved a 2:1 in 2021. I then went on to complete my PGCE in Secondary Education at the same university. I have completed a module at The Open University for my Masters in Education and will be completing the final module in the academic year 2026/27.

Hi, my name is Mads! I am currently attending the University St Andrews, studying for an MLitt in Intellectual History, which is essentially the history of learning and thinking. I recently graduated from the University of Warwick with a first class BA in Modern History. I’m a friendly and approachable tutor, excited to share my love for learning. I teach subjects I have studied previously and still integrate into the focus of my degree, so I continue to study them now!
