Hi! My name is Layla, and I tutor Sciences, Maths, and English as a Foreign Language. I work with students of all ages, from primary and KS3 through to GCSE and A-Level, and I support all major exam boards. I help students with exam preparation, strengthening core skills, and building confidence in English communication. My teaching style is friendly and adaptable—I break down difficult topics into clear, simple steps, use real-life examples, and tailor lessons to each student’s learning style. I believe learning should be enjoyable as well as effective, and I aim to create a supportive environment where students feel motivated and confident. I completed my A-levels at a Sixth Form College in Biology, Maths, Chemistry, and an EPQ (Extended Project Qualification) dissertation, where I researched how sleep and stress intertwine and affect wellbeing. After finishing school, I spent my gap year in Istanbul, studying Arabic and Turkish, which gave me valuable cultural and language-learning experience. This year, I will be starting my degree in Mechanical Engineering at university, and I am excited to apply my strong foundation in maths and sciences to both my studies and my tutoring

Hi! I’m a second-year Geography student at the University of Birmingham with a genuine passion for helping students unlock their full potential. Although I was initially predicted CCD at A-level, I achieved AAB on results day, something I’m incredibly proud of. This experience has shaped the way I tutor. I understand what it feels like to doubt your ability, and more importantly, I know exactly how to turn things around. My goal is to help my students achieve the same transformation or even better! I have over a year of tutoring experience, and I truly find it one of the most rewarding things I do. Seeing students grow in confidence and improve their grades is why I love teaching. Hi! My name is Eloise, I recently graduated from the University of Lincoln with a first class psychology degree and I am excited to begin teaching A Level and GCSE psychology using the skills and knowledge I gained during my studies. Whilst at University, I tutored other students who needed help with research skills and essay writing skills as well as a GCSE history student who required exam technique mentoring, this student was able to increase their grade from a 3 to a 5 after a few sessions. My own experience with A level psychology has equipped me with tried and tested exam techniques which I would love to share with new students and help them achieve the best grades they can, and the grades they deserve, as I know how much hard work goes into these exams! I attended the Cottesloe school (2015- 2020) and gained my GCSEs with grades 5- 7, and a distinction* in business studies. I then joined the sixth form at the same school (2020-2022) where I achieved an A* in psychology, A in history and distinction* in business. I then went to the University of Lincoln (2022-2025) where I gained my Batchelor's degree in psychology with first class honours. During my degree I covered a broad scope of psychology topics and research skills, including my dissertation in my third year in which I achieved a first class grade on.
