I am passionate about teaching Maths because I enjoy helping students see that Maths is not something that is impossible but with help even the most complex topics can be broken down simply. It is especially nice when students come back to you with better results more confidence and a big smile. I can teach Mathematics for A-Levels and below. Big fan of football, cricket (which I play competitively for a club in the Surrey Leagues), video games and recently F1 I would like to preferably tutor students in secondary school, however I am open for Primary school students as well. Hi, I’m Jan Lloyd Francisco, and teaching Mathematics has always been more than just a profession for me — it’s a platform to inspire confidence and critical thinking. From the very beginning, I’ve believed that math isn’t something to fear, but something to explore. As a math teacher, I bring energy, creativity, and real-world relevance into every lesson. I love turning abstract concepts into meaningful experiences through interactive activities, collaborative problem-solving, and practical applications that students can connect with. My goal is simple: help students realize that they are capable of understanding and even enjoying mathematics. Beyond the classroom, I stay grounded and inspired through music and sports. These passions keep me disciplined, focused, and mentally sharp — qualities I also bring into my teaching practice. I graduated with a degree in Mathematics Education, where I developed a strong foundation in mathematical theory, pedagogy, and effective classroom management. My training equipped me with the ability to design engaging lessons, adapt to diverse learning styles, and foster a supportive and inclusive learning environment. I have also completed the academic requirements for the Master of Arts in Education major in Mathematics, further strengthening my expertise in advanced mathematical concepts, research, and instructional strategies. This graduate-level training has deepened my commitment to evidence-based teaching and continuous professional growth. Over the past four years in a formal classroom setting, I have handled diverse groups of learners, designed structured lesson plans, facilitated interactive discussions, and implemented assessments that promote critical thinking. In addition, I have been tutoring students for nearly five years, providing personalized academic support, simplifying complex concepts, and helping learners build both competence and confidence in Mathematics.

I’m a medical student with a passion for teaching Biology, Science, and Maths at primary and GCSE levels. Almost 10 years in higher education, I’ve learned two key things: 1) Every student can succeed with the right teaching approach, and 2) Learning should be active, using techniques like spaced repetition and active recall. I focus on breaking down complex topics, using examples, mnemonics, and past papers to help students understand. I’m patient and adaptable, always ready to find new ways to explain concepts if needed. Outside of academics, I’m passionate about sports, gaming, and tech. I’ve coached an under-15 basketball team and teach guitar at my church, which helps me connect with students and build trust to boost their confidence and performance. I graduated from Glasgow in 2020 with a 2:1 in Biomedical Sciences and am currently pursuing a medical degree. My strong academic background in Maths, Biology, Chemistry, English, and Geography enables me to offer well-rounded and insightful tutoring.

Hiya! My name is Saskia, I am 18 years old and currently studying (BA) Politics and International Relations at the University of Nottingham. My hobbies include playing rugby and watching f1. I just completed my A-levels this past summer in Psychology, Biology and Maths, and I specialise in teaching psychology (A-level). I love revisiting A-level topics, especially social influence and memory. In addition to this, I teach GCSE maths. After doing Maths at GCSE and A-level, I am accommodated with many techniques to assist in teaching. I completed 10 GCSEs in 2023 (at the Royal Latin School), and then went on to achieve 3 A-levels in Mathematics, Psychology and Biology. I now study Politics and International Relations at the University of Nottingham. I have had experience in tutoring with bits of up to GCSE Maths and A-level Psychology.
