I am a qualified teacher with 4 years of experience in teaching English. I currently teach Grade 1 learners in South Africa. I believe that learning should be fun and encourage a holistic development. I enjoy reading and hiking. I also enjoy trying out different kinds of food. I completed my matric at Wordsworth High school, thereafter I enrolled for Hospitality Studies at the International Hotel School and graduated in 2017. I further enrolled at the University of KwaZulu Natal for my BEd Degree and specialized in the Foundation Phase. I am currently a Foundation Phase teacher and teach Grade 1 learners. I am also currently studying for my Honors Degree at the University of Pretoria specializing in Learner Support.

Hi, I’m Ade – GCSE Tutor (Maths and Science) I’m a graduate in IT Management for Business, and I offer tutoring in GCSE Maths and Science. With a strong academic background and a passion for helping others, I aim to make learning more approachable and less stressful for students. My sessions are tailored to each student’s needs—whether that’s boosting confidence, preparing for exams, or simply making tricky topics easier to understand. I focus on building a solid foundation while keeping lessons clear, engaging, and supportive. As someone who’s been through the GCSE journey myself, I know how important it is to have a tutor who’s patient, relatable, and explains things in a way that makes sense. I completed my IT Management for Business degree with a 2:1 classification. The course combined maths, science, and business, giving me a strong mix of technical and practical knowledge. During my studies, I gained experience using IT systems, managing projects, analysing data, and improving business processes. I learned how technology, maths, and science can work together to help organisations make better decisions. I also took part in team projects that were based on real business situations. Some of the modules I did well in included Systems Analysis & Design, Business Intelligence, Strategic IT Management, and Quantitative Methods. These helped me improve my problem-solving and analytical skills and understand how to create solutions that meet people’s needs. My degree also improved my communication and critical thinking, which I now use to explain maths and science topics clearly when supporting students.
