My name is Fernanda and I am 23 years old, with a BSc in Forensic Science from the University of Kent. I am Peruvian, my first language is Spanish, and have been living in the UK for the past 3 years throughout my university career. I have been studying English and have had all my classes in English since I was 4 years old. I am a big fan of musical theatre (won't speak about it unless asked about), sports such as volleyball and athletics and dancing. I studied Forensic Science (Hons) and graduated from the University of Kent with a Upper Second Class Honours (2:1). I completed my A-Levels (Mathematics, Biology and Chemistry) and IGCSEs in Epsom College in Malaysia. I have experience tutoring and helping students from primary school and my classmates throughout my academic journey. Hi, I’m Jolene, a passionate and dedicated math teacher! I teach Algebra, Geometry, and General Mathematics, and I love helping students discover that math can be both understandable and enjoyable. With three years of teaching experience, I focus on student-centered learning, using visual aids, hands-on activities, and real-world examples to make lessons engaging and meaningful. My goal is not only to help students master concepts but also to build their confidence and critical thinking skills. Outside the classroom, I enjoy mobile games, movies, and visiting relaxing places that inspire me to recharge and continue growing as an educator. I graduated with a degree in Mathematics Education, where I built a strong foundation in math, teaching methods, and classroom management. Hello! I am Riddhi. I was a graduate student studying Theoretical Physics at the University of Edinburgh 2021-22 and have now switched to web development recently. I am particularly interested in teaching Physics as well as Mathematics, as I can confidently claim that I have developed a deep intuition for both of these disciplines over the years. I believe that learning both Maths and Physics can be made into a fun process if taught accurately! I have done a Post-graduation course in Theoretical Physics. Apart from my personal education, my tutoring expertise lies in teaching Physics from Year 8 till Year 13, as well as teaching Maths till Year 9. I have been in the tutoring profession for past 5 years now. My greatest achievement so far would be getting a student from zero interest in studying Physics, to teaching them beyond their current year curriculum within just months. Being a Masters student, I understand the necessity for learning certain conventions (the hardest bit for a lot of students) in Physics and Maths, understanding which makes students grasp the subject matter much more efficiently.
