Hello there! I'm Dorothy Jean Acedo, and I'm a dedicated and enthusiastic math teacher. I absolutely love helping students discover that math isn't just about numbers—it's a world of puzzles and possibilities! My mission is to make our lessons feel less like a chore and more like a fun challenge. We'll use games, real-life examples, and collaborative activities to make even the trickiest topics click. When I'm not teaching, I love to get out into nature for a hike or take photos, which reminds me that the world is full of beautiful patterns, just like math. I'm a licensed professional teacher and TEFL-certified educator with a degree in Secondary Education, Major in Mathematics. With over seven years of experience in the classroom, I've developed a strong foundation in teaching strategies that make learning accessible and fun for every student. Hi I'm Charlie. I'm a Master's graduate in Physics and currently undertaking a PhD in Astrophysics while working as a postgraduate teaching assistant. I know through experience how difficult physics and maths can be and am in a position to help students by breaking topics down into manageable components. In summer 2025 I graduated with a first class master's degree in physics with astrophysics and cosmology. I began a PhD in astrophysics in October 2025 and have been working as a teaching assistant since then for varied courses in physics from master's level computer labs to first-year mathematics.

Growing up in a part of Ireland rich in natural beauty, I developed a passion for hiking and camping, along with music on the Uillean pipes, Violin and piano. I enjoy language learning: specifically Spanish and Russian. Naturally, my main focus is Physics, which provides a constant challenge with every strange concept introduced I attended St. Michaels College, Enniskillen for my GCSE's, of which I obtained 8 A*s and 1 A, before switching to Enniskillen Royal Grammar School in order to pursue Further Maths. Here I obtained an A*A*A* grade in Maths, Physics, and Further Maths. I’m currently studying a Physics degree at the University of Edinburgh
