Hi there! I’m Zuzanna, and I’m excited to be your tutor. I hold a degree in Microbiology and a Master’s in Immunology and Infectious Disease, and I currently work in a microbiology laboratory. I’m passionate about education, science, languages, and travel, and I bring that excitement and curiosity straight into my lessons. My lessons are structured, interactive, and exam-focused, but never dry! I use clear explanations, active recall, and targeted past-paper practice with mark scheme analysis to help students maximise marks. Challenging topics are broken down into simple steps with diagrams and quizzes, while we refine exam technique and answer structure. I’m flexible and work closely with each student to tailor lessons to their individual goals.

Hello! My name is Emma, and I am a second-year Accounting and Finance student at Lancaster University. I achieved 9 GCSEs, ranging from 7-9, which allowed me to study Chemistry, Economics and Maths. I also gained an A* in my EPQ, which I completed in year 12, giving me crucial skills that I have carried forward to my degree. I have been tutoring for 8 months. During this time, I have helped prepare primary school students for their SATS and gained more confidence with maths in the classroom. I also prepared year 11 and 13 students for their GCSE and A levels by covering content they were unsure of and practising exam techniques. I previously gained experience mentoring GCSE students at my school. I am a student with dyslexia, so I understand the challenges students face in classroom settings. Anyone can be successful, which is why my sessions are student-led, so that they are catered towards each individual's learning style. If you are unsure of this throughout my school career, I have learnt different methods that work for me and would love to pass them on to others so that we can find a technique that works for you. I attended Rugby School, where I completed my GCSEs and A levels, and now I have gone on to study for a Bachelor's degree in Accounting and Finance at Lancaster University, where my ambition is to become an ACA Chartered Accountant. I am a 27 year old teacher currently residing in South Africa. My passion has always been teaching and learning. I love to read as well as explore nature.
