Hi I’m Helen a student studying a Masters degree in Pharmacy at the University of Kent. I tutor Maths GCSE - up to year 10 Biology, chemistry and Geography - A-level, GCSE and KS3 Combined science and physics: up to year 10 I like painting and listening to music, I also enjoy singing and going out with friends. I tutor Biology, chemistry and geography for primary, GCSE and A-level students. I studied Geography, Biology and chemistry A-level where I achieved an A*,A*,A. I took 9 GCSE’s, these included Maths, double science and geography, where I achieved a: 9-9 in double since and an 8 in maths and 9 in geography.

I have completed my GCSEs, A - Levels and Bachelor's degree with top grades and have experience teaching mathematics from primary to GCSE level. My approach is all about building the confidence of my pupils. I focus on exam preparation in every lesson so the student understands what to expect in the real exams as well as dedicating sessions to tackle worded problems and showing the best techniques to solve them. My easy and friendly tutoring style allows me to adapt to the student's need on an individual basis from pupil to pupil. Lots of practice material and notes available to help build exam techniques. I graduated with a BSc (Hons) Economics from the University of Warwick, achieving a 2:1. My degree included quantitatively intensive modules such as Microeconomics, Macroeconomics, Econometrics, Money & Banking, and Environmental Economics, all of which strengthened my mathematical reasoning, statistical analysis, and problem-solving skills. Before university, I completed A-Levels in Mathematics (A*), Economics (A), and Physics (A), building a strong foundation in algebra, calculus, mechanics, and mathematical modelling. At GCSE level, I earned high grades including an 8 in Mathematics. My academic background has equipped me with a strong specialisation in quantitative analysis, applied mathematics, and statistical methods, skills that directly support my ability to teach mathematical concepts clearly and effectively.

Hi! I'm Sue, and I recently graduated from university with a 2:1 degree in English Language. I'm passionate about creative writing, reading, music and academic writing and am excited for the opportunity to share my passion with others. I love going to the gym, training in martial arts, reading fiction books and listening to music. I believe in letting students direct the learning and tailoring my teaching to their needs, skills and abilities. I am empathetic and understanding towards children and young people with SEND and believe that these should not be barrier to learning and that with the right tools and resources in place every child can thrive. I attended the University of Liverpool and graduated with a 2:1 in English Language in July 2025. I studied A Level English Language, Sociology and Philosophy at Carmel College in St Helens, where I achieved an A* in English Language and Bs in Sociology and Philosophy. I achieved a commendable pass rate of over 80% in English. 70% in music and 60% in mathematics. During my secondary and high school years, I informally tutored my classmates, which not only honed my teaching skills but also earned me recognition from my peers and teachers.
