The reason I chose to study this because it included using a lot of technical and problem-solving methods, it also included a lot of Mathematics which was one of my favourite subjects at school. I would say Algebra is one of my strong areas and I completed the Level 3 Edexcel Algebra award in secondary school. When I teach I primarily use a lot of worksheets and exam-style questions which will help the student improve on the subject and feel better prepared for any upcoming exams. If a student is struggling to understand a concept , I use diagrams, videos and allow them to have more practise until they are comfortable with the topics. Hello! My name is Jhuzen, but you can call me Zen. I’m a dedicated Math tutor with over five years of experience specializing in Algebra and Geometry. My students range from primary school children to adults, from A1 level to university pre-sessional courses. I have prepared university students for General English and Master's preparation courses in Business English, HRM, and STEM courses. I do not teach English Literature at GCSE level. I also have a Master's degree in Spanish and Italian. I have tutored these languages since graduating in 2010. I lived 10 years in Chile and around 5 years in Italy, which deepened my knowledge of the languages.
