Hi there! I'm Tami Okono, and I'm excited to be your tutor. I'm currently studying Economics and I'm in my final year at University. I'm 20 years old and I really like the colour green. When I'm not studying, you can usually find me cooking up something tasty or playing table tennis. Prior to this, I attended Steyning Grammar School in the UK, where I studied Mathematics, Economics, and Psychology for my A-levels. These subjects provided me with a strong analytical foundation and a deeper understanding of human behavior, which are invaluable assets in the field of economics. Before my time in the UK, I completed my early education through secondary school at Greensprings School in Nigeria, where I developed a passion for learning and a global perspective on education.

Bubbly, outgoing is what i would describe myself as. I have been tutoring for more than 5 years, i currently have graduated from University with a degree within Public Health going on to do my masters. I tutor kids from different places within the world, currently tutoring English, Maths and science along with my specialised subjects. I retake tests to ensure i am comfortable with the changes within education and aware of what resource i need to teach my GCSE students. The different qualification's I hold are English and Maths GCSE'S, I have 5 plus years worth of classroom experience in teaching kids in larger groups but however, through them 5 or more years I have also gained how to teach different children with different health and educational needs over the years. I hold health and social care qualifications along with a degree in Public Health (BSc) along with my main GCSE's. I have different styles of teaching depending on each of my student's as i use different approach for all of my students. I have recently gone back into education to complete a masters.

Hi! I am a final year Medical Student with around 10 years of tutoring experience with students aged 7-15 as well as teaching in my OSCE society at University. Levels & subjects I teach: Maths: primary, early secondary and GCSE English: primary and early secondary 11+ prep Languages: fluent in english and urdu/hindi Preferred student age group: primary and pre GCSE About me: I have an outgoing approach to make lessons a fun but productive space for students and make it a priority to understand the tutees in order to cater to their individual needs as a student and optimise their learning experience. I regularly keep parents updated and give tutees homework after each session as questions are the best way to consolodate their learning. I am a dedicated and passionate maths tutor who has experience for over 4 years in tutoring for SATS, GCSE and A-level students. I have an effective way of explaining key concepts clearly to student’s in an engaging and collaborative manner. My patience and experience allow me to adapt easily to the student’s needs. I tailor each lesson to the student’s specific needs who often have varying learning paces and styles. I am supportive, students are encouraged to ask questions, not only during lessons but throughout the week. Motivating students is essential and part of the learning journey by building their confidence and exploring their understanding. My main aim is to get students ready for exams through using my own structured techniques I used during my GCSEs and A-levels which helped me obtain grade A and A*. I currently have a mixture of students, with varying abilities between year 6 and year 11. I am currently studying Money, Banking, and Finance as a final-year student at the University of Birmingham. I've secured A* in Economics and Psychology, and an A in Maths at A-levels. Additionally, I attained all 7,8,9s in my GCSEs, showcasing excellence in subjects like Maths and Business Studies. I currently have a mix of students between year 6 and year 11.
