I’m a medical student with a passion for teaching Biology, Science, and Maths at primary and GCSE levels. Almost 10 years in higher education, I’ve learned two key things: 1) Every student can succeed with the right teaching approach, and 2) Learning should be active, using techniques like spaced repetition and active recall. I focus on breaking down complex topics, using examples, mnemonics, and past papers to help students understand. I’m patient and adaptable, always ready to find new ways to explain concepts if needed. Outside of academics, I’m passionate about sports, gaming, and tech. I’ve coached an under-15 basketball team and teach guitar at my church, which helps me connect with students and build trust to boost their confidence and performance. I graduated from Glasgow in 2020 with a 2:1 in Biomedical Sciences and am currently pursuing a medical degree. My strong academic background in Maths, Biology, Chemistry, English, and Geography enables me to offer well-rounded and insightful tutoring.

I am a results-oriented, dedicated, and enthusiastic individual with strong interpersonal skills who has maintained a positive attitude in all situations. I enjoy learning new things, taking on challenges, and finding practical solutions to problems. Whether working independently or as part of a team, I bring a strong sense of responsibility, attention to detail, and a genuine commitment to doing my best. My role of Head Girl at my past school, St John's College allowed me to improve my time management skills as I had to balance this role alongside my A Level examinations and UCAS deadlines. I've been a ballet dancer since the age of 4 and have completed my Grade 8 aswell as my Intermediate qualification. I've also completed my RAD Assistant Teacher Training course which helped my organisational skills and highlights my dedication to teaching others. I want to teach because I enjoy helping others understand topics they once found difficult and seeing their confidence grow. Maths can feel intimidating, and I find it rewarding to break concepts down in a clear, supportive way that makes learning feel achievable. Teaching allows me to share my knowledge while making a positive, practical difference to students’ academic journeys. I am a final-year student at the University of Liverpool studying International Relations. I went to school in Birmingham and studied History, English Literature and Economics A-level. I have a strong interest in the humanities, especially politics. I went to a Grammar school for my secondary and sixth form education so I have specific knowledge of the 11+ exam. Lower Level: 11+ and 13+ GCSE: English (AQA), History (OCR), Business Studies (Edexcel) A-Level: Economics (Edexcel B) University of Liverpool - BA International Relations (first year) A-Levels: History, English Literature and Economics + EPQ GCSE: Maths, English Literature and Language, Triple Science, History, Business Studies, Food Technology, Spanish 11+ (2015) and 13+ (2017)

As a passionate and dedicated tutor, I'm excited to help students succeed in Mathematics, Computer Science, and 11+ preparation. While I'm new to tutoring, my fresh perspective and enthusiasm for teaching are matched by a strong understanding of the subjects I teach. Went to Nower Hill High School and completed 11 GCSEs with grades 9 in Maths, Physics and Computer Science and grades 8 in Further Maths, Chemistry and Business Studies. Just completed A level in Maths Physics and Computer Science at Nower Hill in 2024.
