My name is Yasir, I am a dedicated and humble tutor specializing in Computer Science and Mathematics. I am a PhD Student, studying Computer Science (Informatik) at University of Zürich I teach Computer Science (GCSE, A-Level), Math (Year 7 - Year 11) as well as all the Major sciences; Chemistry, Phyiscs, Biology and Combined Science at GCSE level With a Bachelor's and Master's degree in Computer Science & Engineering, and currently pursuing a Ph.D. in Computer Science at the University of Zurich, I have a genuine passion for teaching. I strive to simplify complex concepts and create an inclusive learning environment for students of all levels. My patient and friendly approach ensures that every student achieves comprehensive understanding. I have experience teaching prestigious UK boards such as AQA, OCR, and EdExcel, as well as providing guidance to Leaving Certificate students in the Irish school system. Outside of tutoring, I find joy in engaging with video games on PC, playing drums, guitar, traveling as well as playing football. Subsequently, I completed my M.Sc in Computer Science at Ozyegin University, Istanbul, in January 2023. Currently, I am pursuing a Ph.D. in Computer Science at the University of Zurich. I also work as Research Associate at the Blockchain Center, situated within the University of Zurich

I have availability for students Mondays and Wednesdays daytimes only. I have been an educator and trainer for over 17 years and love nothing more than seeing students achieve their goals. I am a scuba diving instructor as my main role and work all over the world. I enjoy watching Netflix and love diving even when I am not in work. I have been lucky to see a lot of the world through all my roles during my career. I tutor 11+, English at primary level and also tutor mathematics and science up to GCSE. I have knowledge of all UK countries curriculum and also the German curriculum. I myself completed the 11+ equivalent when younger and understand the commitment and learning that is needed to succeed. My favourite subjects in school were maths, science and physical education. I am also experienced in working with children with additional learning needs.

I graduated with a Bachelor of Secondary Education, majoring in Mathematics, in 2013 and later completed a Master of Education in Mathematics in 2018. With a decade of teaching experience, I am dedicated to fostering a supportive and engaging learning environment that encourages students to reach their full academic potential. I utilize a variety of instructional techniques and materials, including online resources, to accommodate diverse learning styles and ensure that each student has the tools they need to succeed. My approach focuses on guiding students toward their educational goals, whether transitioning to postsecondary education, pursuing vocational paths, or achieving personal growth. I continuously assess and document both the academic and social progress of my students, maintaining thorough records and analyzing data to inform my teaching strategies.
