Hi! I’m Selina, I’m currently studying Finance at university and I love to help others with their learning! I have a passion for tutoring as I love to teach others what I know about in a subject. My goal in tutoring is to make sure the student excels. I currently attend University of Westminster and I am studying Finance BSc. I have completed many certifications from Finance to Tutoring to an internship. I have also completed my A levels in Psychology, English Language and Literature, Biology, and EPQ.

I’m a 4th-year medical student who enjoys finding a balance between academics and creativity. When I’m not studying or working on university projects, I love going to the beach to surfing. I also enjoy being on stage and taking part in theatre productions, as acting allows me to express myself in a completely different way. In quieter moments, I like to dabble in a bit of art through painting and crafts, and more recently I’ve started learning how to crochet, which has been both fun and rewarding. I’m also an animal lover, especially cats in particular. I enjoy using my creativity most when it comes to teaching, finding ways to make learning easier and, just as importantly, enjoyable. I believe that learning is not just about absorbing knowledge but also about building a skill that you can use throughout life I attended West Buckland School from Year 7 to Year 13, between September 2016 and July 2022. In 2020, I completed 10 GCSEs with grades ranging from 6 to 9, including a 7 in English and Physics, an 8 in Mathematics, and a 9 in both Biology and Chemistry. I then studied A-levels in Biology, Mathematics, and Chemistry, alongside completing an Extended Project Qualification. Now I am a 4th year medical student.

I am a Spanish native speaker, English and Spanish teacher who enjoys meeting people and learning about other people's culture. I also speak French and I worked for Alliance Francaise for a couple of years. I have been tutoring and preparing students for their GCSE's for three years, I am currently tutoring ESL (English as a second language) and French GCSE's as well. Also I prepare students for DELF diplomes, up to B1 level. My oldest student started when she was in year 9 and she has improved her marks in Spanish consistently. I also have experience teaching children online. I am fond of walking in the nature, spending time outdoors when possible and watching TV series. I then completed A-levels in Pure Mathematics, earning the highest mark in Europe in A-level Pure Mathematics. I am currently studying Computer Science and Mathematics at the University of Manchester, one of the UK’s top universities. I have just completed my first year with a first-class overall mark of 82.583%, excelling in both theoretical and applied mathematics modules. My university coursework has further deepened my understanding of algebra, calculus, statistics, and logical problem solving.
