ENGLISH LANGUAGE I enjoy tutoring English to students in Primary and Secondary school age groups and have plenty of experience of teaching GCSE and A-Level English Language. HERITAGE, MUSEUM STUDIES, TOURISM AND TRAVEL Due to my experience with my MA in Heritage Management and working for the National Trust, I am happy to assist anyone studying heritage, tourism and travel courses to Higher Level. My hobbies include creative writing and I enjoy helping other writers, including young adults, by critiquing their creative writing. I have been nominated for a Writing.com Quill Award for being a top reviewer. I write non-fiction about literature and history, for example, my latest book entitled 'Jane Austen’s Easter' and an article in the Brontë Studies journal. I volunteer at a local library to give literary talks and read at children’s events. I enjoy watercolour painting, baking, sewing and crafting, watching historical and fantasy films, visiting historic sites and gardens, and walking with my dog. I have a lifelong love of learning about literature, history and the arts. For my A-Levels in Classical Civilisations, English Literature and Art History I gained A* grades. I achieved a First for my BA Hons in Humanities with a specialism in Art History with the Open University, which included taking a 3rd Year module in English Literature. I gained a Distinction for my MA in Heritage Management studied with the University of Birmingham, and was nominated to be the Class Representative for the course. I have been a tutor with GoStudent since 2022. I lecture on literary heritage topics at the University of Chester. I have also given lectures on my historical research at the University of Alberta and the University of Shrewsbury. Working for the National Trust, I interest young people of different ages with history and art history, and mentor work experience students and Duke of Edinburgh students.
