Hello! My name is Abz, and I provide 1:1 GCSE and KS3 Maths, Biology, Chemistry and Physics tuition across all major exam boards (AQA, OCR and Edexcel to name a few). With over four years of tutoring experience and having achieved A* in A level Biology, Maths and Chemistry, I help students build confidence with a calm and patient approach, close knowledge gaps and improve exam performance with regular exam questions in our lessons. Lessons are fully personalised to target knowledge gaps with clear explanations using diagrams and the interactive online whiteboard. I am currently a student studying Electrical and Computer Engineering at the University of Nottingham. I passed A-Level Mathematics, Physics and Computer Science with an A,B,B respectively. In my spare time, I enjoy reading, playing basketball and practicing my violin and piano. I've also participated many workshops to do with communication which has increased my public speaking and collaboration skills. For secondary school I attended King Edwards VI Handsworth Grammar School for Boys. I left with 11 GCSE's with an 8 in Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Religious Studies and a 7 in English Literature and Language, French and Business. For Sixth Form I attended the University of Birmingham School for 2 years. I left with an A,B,B in Mathematics, Physics and Computer Science respectively.

My name is Qasim and I want to teach you as I am a motivated teacher wanting to push students' grades higher than what they are currently. I believe I am a fun and immersive teacher who can help you to enjoy the content that you are struggling on. Having already tutored multiple students before, I believe I can be someone who can push you to do your best and achieve the grades you didn’t think you could have. I completed my education at Queen Mary University of London, completed a degree in Aerospace Engineering achieving a First Class Honors. I am now working as an aerospace engineer at GE in Wales, working in multiple different sections of the business.

Currently studying (MEng) Mechatronics and Robotics Engineering at the University of Sheffield, I am a dedicated Maths and Physics tutor, with around an 2-3 years total experience in person and online, helping students build confidence and achieve top grades. My approach combines the structured discipline of established learning centres, such as Kumon (where I was a tutor for more than 2 years) and the flexible touch of indepedent 1 on 1 tutoring. I achieved a Grade 9 in Maths and all Sciences in my GCSEs and got an A in Physics at A level. I have also had experience tutoring 11+ briefly, and have passed the 11+ myself in 2017. As a student who completed his GCSE exams 3 years ago, I can provide tailored advice and the most up-to-date tips and tricks to help students flourish and achieve top marks. I went to a selective state-grammar school based on 11+ scores called Lawrence Sheriff School for all of my secondary school years and 6th form. I completed my GCSEs and A-Levels here achieving almost all A*/A scores in every subject. Currently, I am at University studying (MEng) Mechatronics and Robotics Engineering at the University of Sheffield.
