Hello! I am a dual Australian–British national and a recent graduate with Bachelor of Laws and Master of Laws degrees. Having lived in four different countries, I understand first-hand the challenges and experiences of international students, and I bring this awareness into my tutoring through an empathetic and flexible approach. Last year, I had the opportunity to teach abroad in Switzerland, where I taught English to French, German, and Italian students learning it as a second language. This experience gave me valuable insight into the needs of ESL learners, allowing me to support students in building confidence and fluency in both written and spoken English. Education I recently completed a Master of Laws (LLM) degree, graduating with a Distinction and receiving the LLM Award for the highest overall grade in my cohort. Prior to this, I earned a Bachelor of Laws (LLB). For my A-levels, I studied English, Religious Studies, Psychology, and completed an Extended Project Qualification (EPQ) - achieving four A*s. At GCSE level, I completed eight subjects, including a Grade 9 in English Language and a Grade 8 in English Literature, reflecting my strong foundation in the subject I now teach.

As a journalist with a deep passion for teaching, I've dedicated the past seven years to guiding a diverse group of teenagers and adults on their Spanish language journey. In this role, I've honed my ability to effectively impart all four language skills: reading, writing, speaking, and listening. I specialize in helping students build confidence in reading, writing, speaking, and critical thinking. For me, English is more than just grammar rules and vocabulary—it’s a powerful tool for self-expression, creativity, and connection with the world. Hi! I'm Favour, I have experience tutoring students who are studying English language and Literature for their GCSE's. As a tutor I aim to breakdown questions & lessons to go along with the students' pace. During lessons I use the students interest to channel their learning & I am patient to ensure they get the most of the time. For example I once used a students' sports interest to breakdown the structure question in the AQA language paper 1 question 3. What I love the most about tutoring (apart from spreading knowledge of course) is getting to know, learn and see students develop. I love seeing wonderful personalities and interests come through, so I look forward to meeting you soon! Outside of tutoring, I am involved in marketing communications. In my spare time I like to watch movies, videos on dog grooming, skincare & perfumes, spend time with friends and bake (when I can).
