Hello, I’m Elchanne Mae A. Ricafort, a Licensed Professional Teacher, a Values Education major, and a cum laude graduate. I have teaching experience with both college and high school students, which has allowed me to work with learners from diverse backgrounds, abilities, and learning styles. In my classes, students can expect interactive discussions, fun activities, and practical examples that make learning meaningful and enjoyable. I also use various tools and resources to support every learner’s growth. Hey, my name is Shiza and I am a medical student. I have been tutoring for over 5 years and I enjoy helping students to reach their potential. As every student deserves the chance to feel confident and heard, I work with them step by step to tackle tricky ideas together and further solidify their understanding. Learning can be clear and rewarding as long as that student is given the chance to find the method and schedule that works for them! I completed my GCSE's at Maria Fidelis Catholic FCJ school in 2023/24. Achieving Maths (7), English (8), Chemistry (7). I have actually just sat my A-levels at Trinity Catholic High school where I am predicted A*AA in Mathematics, Chemistry and Psychology.

I’m currently in my first year of Biomedical Science. I have a strong passion for the sciences, with an interest of sharing scientific knowledge with my peers and students. I have done my A levels Maths, Biology and Chemistry in the UK but I have a multicultural background as I moved from Italy. I used to spent my Saturday mornings teaching primary schoolers in Italy with additional learning needs. This choice was rooted by the fact that my own brothers have additional learning needs so that experience, combined with being multilingual (I can fluently speak in Hindi, Punjabi, and Italian), has shaped how I approach learning with patience making sure nobody is left behind. I want to become a tutor because it gives me satisfaction when I see students achieving their goals and see their self-confidence soar! I don't just want to teach subjects but I want to be a supportive part of their journey, helping them realize that no academic challenge is too big to overcome. I achieved my GCSEs (Maths, Physics, Combined Science, Philosophy, Latin, Italian Language and Literature, English, History, Social Sciences and PE) in Italy. After that I moved to the UK where I completed my GCSE in English language and Maths and an ESOL course at Tresham College in Corby. I continued my studies following my passion for the scientific subjects. I studied A level Maths, Chemistry and Biology, at the Corby Sixth Form, achieving a grade B in all three of my subjects. Currently I'm in my first year of Biomedical Science at the University of East Anglia. Additionally I also have completed an online course on careers available in the NHS and volunteered at my local hospital so I can provide mentorship for students interested in studying STEM degree and gain access in an health related career.
