Hello my name is Carla Edmunds, I am from South Africa, I am a 36 year old English, mathematics, Biology and Geography teacher. I am a qualified preschool teacher as well as a Pastry chef. I love to travel around the world teaching my subjects as well as travel for my leisure , however teaching is my passion, I love to learn from my students as well as making sure that my students enjoy and understand their lessons for the day. These strengthened my problem-solving, analytical, and numerical skills, which I now enjoy passing on through tutoring.

My name is Krishaah Senthan, I am a first year Pharmacy student at the University of Lincoln and an experienced tutor specialising in GCSE English, Chemistry, Religious Studies and 11+. My teaching style combines patience, encouragement, and clear step-by-step explanations. Whether you’re aiming to boost confidence or achieve top grades, I’ll help you master the material and feel fully prepared for exams. For secondary I went Westcliff high school for Girls where I did 12 GCSEs including English, Maths and Triple Science. For sixth form I went Southend High school for Boys where I did Biology, Chemistry, Religious Studies and an EPQ. I am now currently in my first year of Pharmacy at the University of Lincoln.

I have been tutoring with GoStudent for six months now, having formerly worked at museums, churches and summer camps. I enjoy working with children and am a current Sunday-School teacher and former volunteer with several youth charities. I also have two years of classroom experience with Years 2 and 3, but am happy to work with children of any age, teaching English, Maths, History, Latin, and RE. Please note I do not take adult learners at this time. I am a graduate of the University of Cambridge with a first-class degree in History, also having taken papers in Classics and Theology. I won several prizes during my degree, including three prize scholarships and the Roy Porter Prize for History in my second year.
