Hello ! I'm Valentin and I'm an enthusiastic french tutor. Willing to learn French and discover all its secrets ? Here I am ! I offer and adapt my lessons to be suitable for all ages. Whether it's simple conversation, grammar exercises, comprehension, writing, reading or pronunciation. I will work with you to improve your French the best way possible. I can also help with homework or GCSE preparation ! However, you will see that studying with me is not like school. I don't do notation system. What's important for me is to relax the student so that he wants to try to express without being afraid of making a mistake. And even if he does, I could take time to correct him and see together how to improve himself. Mistakes are part of the process of learning. About myself ! I'm mostly a travel-addict and I tell my stories by making cartoons. I've been teaching French to people for two years now and I really discovered the joy to share. Hi my name is Stuart Smith. I have completed 19 years of successful teaching. I have gained experience of teaching years 7 to 11 Science and several years teaching A levels in Chemistry and Physics. Recently I was an examiner for Cambridge A level Chemistry. I have used my experience to develop a dynamic positive teaching style. Across the academic spectrum students find popular science in the media engaging and I make full use of this. Before coming into teaching I enjoyed many years working in the Shipbuilding Industry. This invaluable experience has enabled me to have knowledge of life outside the classroom and has enabled me to form a more rounded character. This has benefited work as a tutor as well as strengthening my ability as a team player. I have A levels in Biology, Chemistry , Physics and Mathematics. I studied BSc Chemistry at The University of Bristol and went on to study a PGCE in Science at The University of Bristol. A large coponent of my degree course included Chemistry , Physics and Mathematics.

I have availability for students Mondays and Wednesdays daytimes only. I have been an educator and trainer for over 16 years and love nothing more than seeing students achieve their goals. I am a scuba diving instructor as my main role and work all over the world. I enjoy watching Netflix and love diving even when I am not in work. I have been lucky to see a lot of the world through all my roles during my career. I tutor 11+, English at primary level and also tutor mathematics and science up to GCSE. I have knowledge of all UK countries curriculum and also the German curriculum. I myself completed the 11+ equivalent when younger and understand the commitment and learning that is needed to succeed. My favourite subjects in school were maths, science and physical education. I am also experienced in working with children with additional learning needs.
