I’m a lively and creative tutor who makes learning English, English Literature, and Creative Writing exciting for students from elementary to Grade 12. I also teach elementary Geography and Biology, high school and introductory university Psychology, as well as high school Sociology. My lessons inspire curiosity, build confidence, and make learning engaging and fun! I completed my grade 12 high school diploma at Oaklands Secondary School in Cape Town, South Africa. I worked for several years as an educator at various schools in South Africa, teaching from grades 6 to 12. My subjects were English and Afrikaans at the senior level, and Biology and Geography at the elementary level. I am now completing my final year of a Bachelor of Arts degree, with majors in English and Psychology. I have also completed a certificate in The Principles of Human Resources.

Hello. I'm Debs, nice to meet you. I tutor a range of subjects, all based on experience of teaching within school, college and less tradiitional settings. I love tutoring one to one as that is the best way to give the student exactly what they need. I teach Sociology, Business and English at GCSE and A level and I have experience of AQA and Edexcel exam boards. I have also taught Btec Business level 1-3 In 2023 I completed a Master's degree in Philosophy as I love learning new things just as much as I love to teach. I make learning fun wherever possible and tailor every lesson to the student's needs. I use a variety of methods so you won't get bored and I am always happy to answer questions and re-explain things. There's no such thing as a silly question! I’m a final-year Aerospace Engineering student with excellent GCSE and A-Level results. I’ve been tutoring for several years and really enjoy helping students achieve their potential. I focus on making lessons clear, supportive, and engaging, building confidence step by step. I’m happy to tutor a range of subjects and adapt my teaching style to suit each student’s needs I am currently in my final year of studying Aerospace Engineering at Queen Mary University of London, where I have developed strong skills in maths, physics, and problem-solving. I achieved excellent GCSE and A-Level results, particularly excelling in Maths and Sciences, which inspired me to pursue engineering.
