Hello! I'm Jeffry C. Ruma, a Licensed Professional Teacher with a wealth of experience in education. I’ve had the honor of serving as a University Instructor and currently teach at a public school with the Department of Education. With a National Certificate in Computer System Servicing and as a proud WorldSkills Competition Winner 2022, I specialize in Computer Science, Educational Technology, and Contact Center Services. I also excel as a face-to-face tutor in Computer Science, English, Math, Geography, Science (particularly Chemistry and Biology), Sociology, Economics, and Psychology. I have been tutoring with GoStudent for almost a year now, having formerly worked at museums, churches and summer camps. I enjoy working with children and am a current Sunday-School teacher and former volunteer with several youth charities. I also have two years of classroom experience with Years 2 and 3, but am happy to work with children of any age, teaching English, Maths, History, Latin, and RE. Please note I do not take adult learners at this time. I am a graduate of the University of Cambridge with a first-class degree in History, also having taken papers in Classics and Theology. I won several prizes during my degree, including three prize scholarships and the Roy Porter Prize for History in my second year. Prior to my degree, I took three A-Levels in History, Maths and English, receiving all A*s, and prior to that, ten GCSEs, receiving all 9s.

As every student deserves the chance to feel confident and heard, I work with them step by step to tackle tricky ideas together and further solidify their understanding. Learning can be clear and rewarding as long as that student is given the chance to find the method and schedule that works for them! I completed my GCSE's at Maria Fidelis Catholic FCJ school in 2023/24. Achieving Maths (7), English (8), Chemistry (7). I have actually just sat my A-levels at Trinity Catholic High school where I am predicted A*AA in Mathematics, Chemistry and Psychology.

I am a passionate and dedicated tutor currently studying Economics in my first year at university. I teach Economics, Spanish and A-level and GCSE Maths, bringing both academic excellence and a dynamic approach to every lesson. With two years of experience as an 11+ Maths and English tutor at Test Teach, I have developed a strong ability to engage I went to Sutton Grammar School where I got 11 9s in my GCSEs including maths, English language, English literature and Spanish. I achieved 3 A*s and an A in my A-levels in Maths, Further Maths, Economics and Spanish. I am a first year economics student.
