I graduated in Mathematics and Computer Science from the University of Birmingham and teach Maths to students of all ages up to A level. I achieved A*A*A* at A level in Maths, Physics and Chemistry, reflecting the strong academic foundation I bring to my teaching. With my students, I ensure that their understanding of underlying methods is to the highest possible standard through rigorous practice. In my experience as a student, exposing yourself to different mathematical scenarios builds a great foundation for achieving the best possible grades. My biggest aim for my students is for them to constantly improve so that when they get to the exam, they are confident about any aspect of the syllabus that may arise. For my sessions, I will ask students what they wish to study and ensure I tailor the session around what I am told. If the student is undecided, I will plan lessons around pushing the student to challenge themselves in rigorous practice, with my guidance, around different mathematical concepts in their curriculum. For exams, my main aim is for students to achieve the best grades possible, meeting and exceeding their targets. My highest level of education is an MSci in Mathematics and Computer Science from the University of Birmingham. Prior to this, I achieved A*A*A* in A-level Mathematics, Chemistry, and Physics. I have over 3 years of experience tutoring students in Mathematics across a range of ages and abilities, up to A level. Through this experience, I have developed a strong ability to explain difficult concepts clearly, adapt lessons to each student’s learning style, and build both confidence and exam technique. My focus is always on ensuring students fully understand the methods they are using, so they can approach unfamiliar questions with confidence and achieve the best grades possible.

Hello. I'm Debs, nice to meet you. I tutor a range of subjects, all based on experience of teaching within school, college and less tradiitional settings. I love tutoring one to one as that is the best way to give the student exactly what they need. I teach Sociology, Business and English at GCSE and A level and I have experience of AQA and Edexcel exam boards. I have also taught Btec Business level 1-3 In 2023 I completed a Master's degree in Philosophy as I love learning new things just as much as I love to teach. I make learning fun wherever possible and tailor every lesson to the student's needs. I use a variety of methods so you won't get bored and I am always happy to answer questions and re-explain things. There's no such thing as a silly question! Hi! I’m Beth, it’s lovely to meet you! I can help you out with maths and science subjects and my aim is to give you the confidence and understanding to do the best that you can in your exams. I will work through difficult areas with you until you are confident and it is no longer anything to worry about. I completed my A-levels in Physics, Chemistry, Maths and Further Maths a few years ago and achieved 4 A* grades. Before that, I achieved 11 grade 9s at GCSE, including Further Maths and Triple Science. I’m now doing a degree apprenticeship in Digital Technology Solutions BSc while working as an IT consultant. Some of my hobbies/interests include sailing, dog agility and pilates.

Hi, I'm Raiyaan — a Medical student at UCL and a former pupil of St Paul's School, Barnes. I tutor GCSE Maths and the Sciences, and I genuinely love helping students have that "it finally makes sense!" moment. My approach is patient, friendly and completely non-judgemental: I start by understanding where a student is stuck, then break tricky topics into simple, manageable steps until they click. I care just as much about building confidence as improving grades — because once a student believes they can do it, everything gets easier. Because I sat these exams recently, I know the current specifications, exam techniques and common pitfalls inside out. Alongside my studies, I've spent the past two years tutoring GCSE Maths and Science, helping students make real, measurable progress and grow in confidence. I've also volunteered with elderly and vulnerable people in a care home, which taught me the patience and clear communication that make a genuine difference in one-to-one teaching.
