I am a qualified teacher with 4 years of experience in teaching English. I currently teach Grade 1 learners in South Africa. I believe that learning should be fun and encourage a holistic development. I enjoy reading and hiking. I also enjoy trying out different kinds of food. I completed my matric at Wordsworth High school, thereafter I enrolled for Hospitality Studies at the International Hotel School and graduated in 2017. I further enrolled at the University of KwaZulu Natal for my BEd Degree and specialized in the Foundation Phase. I am currently a Foundation Phase teacher and teach Grade 1 learners. I am also currently studying for my Honors Degree at the University of Pretoria specializing in Learner Support.

Hi, I am Tutor Mega. I have 3 years of experience teaching online and over 5 years of teaching offline. My journey as a tutor started in the university, by helping my colleagues catch up with the curriculum. This passion grew and I absolutely love helping students jump hurdles that seemed like mountains in the past. I am a Pharmacist by profession and this requires a broad knowledge of Biology, Chemistry, Physics and Psychology to the advanced level, as it is needed to understand, discover and produce medicines for human use. I also have a teaching certificate from the TEFL Professional Institute. I have tutored Biology, Chemistry,Psychology and Physics at GCSE and A-levels, and I have also tutored Pharmacology to medical, nursing, and pharmacy students. My goal and tutoring style is to prioritize understanding while providing strategies to answer questions properly for the maximum possible marks, therefore, helping students achieve their academic goals. My story is one of pure resilience which is what I want to impact in my students daily. I went from a struggling high school student to acing my GCSE, and finally becoming a Pharmacist, which has always been my dream. I am a clinical researcher because I love to discover new things which also fostered my love for teaching. After all, learning is a two-way process and it never stops. Aside from teaching, I love to read, I love to cook as well as I am on a journey to discover new recipes!!! Hello! I am currently studying Theoretical Physics at the University of Bath. My main pastimes include hiking/camping, going to the gym, and running, so I do hope that I can relate to many of you! For me, tutoring is developing a clear understanding of subject knowledge instead of regurgitation of facts; learning should be to question and to think critically rather than to memorise. With me as a tutor, you can expect to gain a deep insight into your subject and acquire the ability to excel in your exams. I attended Swanmore College Of Technology where I studied 10 GCSE's achieving 5 9's in (Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Enterprise and marketing and English literature)- 4 8's ( Maths, Computer science, English language and History) 1 7 ( Further maths). In my A- levels I achieved an A* in Maths, an A in Further Maths, an A in Physics and an A* in an extended project qualification for which I did extensive research in quantum mechanics and furthered my understanding of the double slit experiment exponentially (in both the quantum and classical realm). Currently I am a first year undergraduate at the University Of Bath studying Theoretical Physics.
