I hold a strong academic and professional background in Spanish language, culture, and education. I graduated in Hispanic Studies and later completed an MA at the University of Glasgow, where I developed advanced knowledge of Spanish and Latin American literature, history, politics, and cultural studies. My academic training gave me a deep appreciation of the richness and diversity of the Spanish-speaking world, from Golden Age literature to contemporary Latin American society. I am also a published poet. I have experience of teaching English Language and Literature. Alongside my academic qualifications, I also completed a PGCE and obtained Qualified Teacher Status through the St Mary's University. This provided me with strong pedagogical foundations in lesson planning, assessment, classroom management, and differentiated learning. I have experience teaching students of different ages and abilities and aim to create engaging lessons that build both confidence and linguistic competence.
