I'm a first year medical student in London dedicated to teaching my students how to engage with their learning and achieve their academic goals. I tutor for GCSE Maths and Science for a variety of exam boards, such as AQA, Edexcel, OCR and Eduqas. As a full time student, I empathise with the difficulties students may encounter while navigating their chosen subjects of study. Having achieved 9-9-9-8 in my GCSEs three years ago, I am certain that I can enable my students to approach their learning with confidence. My first priority as a tutor is making my students feel comfortable with topics they feel are the most daunting, so they can eventually progress to tackling unfamiliar scenarios in questions. I teach using a wide variety of learning techniques, so that my students can explore what works best for them. Some include utilisation of past exam questions, recaps of previous lessons and whiteboard interactivity to reinforce my students' learning. I'm currently studying at UCl in its Medical School for the Medicine MBBS BSc degree. I achieved A*AA in my A Levels in Biology, Maths and Chemistry. I achieved 9-9-9-8 in Triple Science Higher and Maths. I attended grammar school for the entirety of my school experience.

My hobbies include working out, football and research. I believe that physical activity is very important for our mental health and it also helps us in making better decisions. On the other hand, I am constantly trying to research new studies and theories as learning is not restricted to a certain age group rather it is for all of us until we can still breathe. I'm an Electrical and Electronic Engineering student at Queen Mary University of London who enjoys helping students succeed in Maths and Physics. I explain concepts clearly, adapt to each student's learning style, and aim to build confidence as well as strong subject knowledge. I am currently studying Electrical and Electronic Engineering at Queen Mary University of London and will be entering my final year this September. My degree has strengthened my mathematical, analytical and problem-solving skills through subjects such as calculus, algebra, physics and engineering principles. Before university, I studied A Levels in Maths, Chemistry and Physics, which gave me a strong foundation in STEM subjects. During school, I enjoyed helping younger students prepare for exams and explaining topics they found challenging. These experiences helped me develop clear communication skills and reinforced my interest in teaching. I believe every student learns differently, so I aim to adapt my explanations to suit each individual. My goal is to help students not only improve their grades but also gain confidence in their own abilities and enjoy learning.
