Hi, I’m Cherry Mae Quijano, a passionate educator with a deep love for mathematics. I strive to make complex concepts accessible and enjoyable for my students. My mission is to foster critical thinking, resilience, and a lifelong love of learning. I focus on creating a student-centered environment where every individual feels valued and empowered to achieve their fullest potential. I hold a bachelor’s in secondary education, majoring in mathematics, and am pursuing a master’s in education. I teach general mathematics and statistics with a focus on active participation and critical thinking. Beyond the classroom, I mentor students, coach for competitions, and foster a growth mindset. My goal is to inspire curiosity and empower students.

I am a results-oriented, dedicated, and enthusiastic individual with strong interpersonal skills who has maintained a positive attitude in all situations. I enjoy learning new things, taking on challenges, and finding practical solutions to problems. Whether working independently or as part of a team, I bring a strong sense of responsibility, attention to detail, and a genuine commitment to doing my best. My role of Head Girl at my past school, St John's College allowed me to improve my time management skills as I had to balance this role alongside my A Level examinations and UCAS deadlines. I've been a ballet dancer since the age of 4 and have completed my Grade 8 aswell as my Intermediate qualification. I've also completed my RAD Assistant Teacher Training course which helped my organisational skills and highlights my dedication to teaching others. I want to teach because I enjoy helping others understand topics they once found difficult and seeing their confidence grow. Maths can feel intimidating, and I find it rewarding to break concepts down in a clear, supportive way that makes learning feel achievable. Teaching allows me to share my knowledge while making a positive, practical difference to students’ academic journeys. Hey, I’m Sohail! I’m 20 and currently in my 3rd year of dentistry. I’ve always loved science and enjoy making tricky topics easier to understand. I know what it’s like to feel stuck with studying, so I try to keep things clear, supportive, and even a bit fun to help students feel more confident. Currently studying for a Master’s in Dental Medicine, now in my 3rd year of dental school. Achieved AAA in Biology, Chemistry, and Psychology at A-level.
