Hi, I'm Chris, a recent graduate in nuclear engineering with a love of maths and physics. I help students to build confidence and improve their core understanding of maths and physics. I focus on breaking down complex problems into smaller, more manageable steps which helps students understand the content along with worked examples and exam questions which helps students to solve questions in an exam and achieve their goals. I hold a Bachelor of Engineering degree from Lancaster University, specialising in nuclear engineering which involved a large amount of electrical engineering and particle physics. I also hold three A-Levels in maths, physics and chemistry from Thomas Rotherham College where I achieved an A*, A and B respectively. I also have GCSEs in maths (9), physics (9), chemistry (9), biology (9), computer science (9), geography (8), English language(8), English literature (7) from Winterhill School.

I’m a 21 year old dental student studying in Bulgaria. I’ve taught students in the past, mainly during their GCSEs and A Levels, and I’m really excited to start teaching again. I’ve always been passionate about helping others learn because not only does it allow me to support students in building their confidence and understanding but it also strengthens my own knowledge. Outside of teaching, I love baking, painting, and playing sports like badminton :) I attended Nower Hill High School for both GCSEs and A-Levels. For GCSEs I achieved grades 9, 8, 8 in Biology, Chemistry and Maths respectively. For A-levels I achieved grades AAB in Biology, Maths and Chemistry respectively. I am currently studying dental medicine at the Medical University of Sofia.

Hi there! I have over 4 years experience tutoring a range of subjects. My specialties are maths, physics, chemistry and Spanish, which I've mostly taught at A-Level and GCSE tiers. I have a BA in mathematics which I studied alongside tutoring, so I can appreciate teaching from both sides of the classroom. Much of my experience revolves around helping students to prepare for exams, and working through past papers together is an invaluable tool for this. I'm also very passionate about my subjects, with STEM I've always had a deep personal interest in how the Universe works, and I've always loved Spain and seeing how the logic in different languages works. I enjoy explaining what I know to others, which puts me in a good position to be a tutor. It's also great to see students progressing over time. My tutoring method is based around giving the student the tools they need and guiding them to solve problems themselves, rather than simply being told the answers. I believe this process helps students to learn how to think critically, and thus become more independent and able to solve problems on their own in the future. My approach is practical and structured—I focus on helping students recognize patterns, think critically, and solve problems step by step. Outside of teaching, I’m actively involved in trading, where I apply logic, analysis, and discipline—skills that I also bring into my lessons. This helps me connect math to real-world applications, making learning more meaningful and relatable for my students. I graduated with a Bachelor of Secondary Education, majoring in Mathematics. During my studies, I developed a strong foundation in mathematical concepts, teaching strategies, and classroom management. This training allowed me to handle different types of learners and create structured, engaging lessons that support both understanding and performance.
