I am currently a psychology undergraduate, aspiring to become a psychology teacher! My aspiration to become a teacher arises from a deep commitment to helping others realise their potential through learning. Throughout my studies, I have consistently taken satisfaction in supporting my peers to grasp challenging concepts, particularly in research. These experiences revealed how rewarding it is to guide others towards understanding and confidence. Teaching offers an ideal opportunity to combine my enthusiasm for psychology with my desire to make a meaningful contribution to young people’s education. In my spare time I like to read books, mostly romance and sometimes play games on my console. My current degree in psychology has given me a strong scientific foundation and a skill set highly relevant to teaching psychology. The subject itself is rooted in the scientific method, forming hypotheses, designing experiments, collecting data, and analysing results, all of which are central to understanding and teaching psychology effectively. Through my degree, I have developed strong analytical thinking, problem-solving, and communication skills, as well as the ability to interpret data and explain complex theories clearly. Working on research projects such as mind-wandering and facial recognition has deepened my appreciation of how psychological principles can be applied in real-world contexts. These experiences are directly transferable to teaching psychology, where curiosity, critical thinking, and clarity are key to engaging students and helping them succeed.

Hi my name is Gabriel. I am a 28 year old 11+ tutor. I love helping students prepare for their 11+ entrance exams. I have a degree in English from Rhodes University. I have a passion for teaching and for helping others grow. I have experience with helping students prepare for the GL Assessment 11+ test as well as others such as the Sutton Boys 11+ test. In 2018 I enrolled in a Bachelor of the Arts at Rhodes University in my home country of South Africa. Rhodes University has the best Humanities Faculty and the best English Department in the country and so it was a natural choice for me as I intended to study English Literature. I completed my triple major Bachelor's in English Literature, History and Philosophy in 2020.

I've tutored maths and physics for 3 years and have loved guiding and teaching my students to pass their GCSE's and A-levels. I recently graduated with a Masters in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Birmingham and understand how important these first few steps are on the road to higher education. I am an experienced maths tutor based in Glasgow. I received my maths degree from the University of Glasgow and have tutored and range of age groups from primary school age, through to high school and also undergraduate. I am passionate about learning and believe that learning is about enjoyment and practicality. I enjoy helping people succeed and ultimately seeing people become more confident within themselves. I have a honours degree in Mathematics and Economics from the University of Glasgow with a particular specialisation in applied mathematics and am currently working towards my second degree in Spanish and Latin American Studies from the University of Stirling.
