Hi there! Here Yasmin! I love languages, cultures and learning. I am also a passionate cook, botanist and cinemagoer. I have a particular way of teaching. With me, you'll be the star. A student-centred class where lessons are adapted to your personality, capabilities, interests and goals. Let's have some fun and learn together! After a Bachelor's Degree in Translation and Interpretation and a Master's in Conference Interpreting, I have been learning languages for years now and, in 2019, I decided to pass on to my students the language acquisition techniques that helped me when learning French, Russian, Arabic, Basque and English. Here goes one: make the impossible to surround yourself with a Spanish or Hispanic environment (tutors, friends, relatives, news... > culture will boost your motivation to continue learning). I lived in Valencia, Donostia, Bilbao, Madrid and Huelva but I also lived in Bordeaux, Bergerac and Paris. I started teaching Spanish in the Spanish city of Vitoria (also known as the Basque Siberia) because I wanted to help the immigrants coming every year to start a new life in Spain. I found that the best way to help them was by teaching them Spanish so that they could communicate with others and build a brand-new life. In 2020, I started teaching and tutoring French and Spanish on digital learning platforms. Up until now, I have helped more than 90 people (all ages, students with SEND educational profiles, backgrounds and cultures) reach their goals onsite and online and have been translating, project managing and interpreting for 3 years! I am a 3rd year medical student with a passion for teaching, tutoring and helping students get the highest grades they possibly can. I have been teaching for over 5 years working with a wide background of students from 11+ and GCSE students to SEN students. I study Medicine at Aston university and was a former student at the Latymer Grammar School in Edmonton. In my GCSEs I got 9s in Maths, English lang and lit, Biology, Chemistry and Physics and I also got 3 A*s in Biology, Chemistry and Maths for my A levels

As a passionate and dedicated tutor, I'm excited to help students succeed in Mathematics, Computer Science, and 11+ preparation. While I'm new to tutoring, my fresh perspective and enthusiasm for teaching are matched by a strong understanding of the subjects I teach. Went to Nower Hill High School and completed 11 GCSEs with grades 9 in Maths, Physics and Computer Science and grades 8 in Further Maths, Chemistry and Business Studies. Just completed A level in Maths Physics and Computer Science at Nower Hill in 2024.
