I teach English Literature and English Language to GCSE aged students. I also teach English as a foreign language to both children and adults. I teach Philosophy, Ethics, and Religious Studies up to GCSE level. I teach English to French students and can speak conversational French to aid this. I tutor students working towards their IELTS qualification. I have a Masters in Mental and Moral Science (Philosophy) from Trinity College, Dublin and am looking to further my formal education in the coming years aside from the countless MOOCs I've taken ranging from Opera to Counter-Terrorism classes. I enjoy Creative Writing and am always penning stories or poetry. I have lived all over the world, love traveling and exploring and look forward to learning how we can incorporate your personal experiences and passions into your studies. The reason I chose to study this because it included using a lot of technical and problem-solving methods, it also included a lot of Mathematics which was one of my favourite subjects at school. I would say Algebra is one of my strong areas and I completed the Level 3 Edexcel Algebra award in secondary school. When I teach I primarily use a lot of worksheets and exam-style questions which will help the student improve on the subject and feel better prepared for any upcoming exams. If a student is struggling to understand a concept , I use diagrams, videos and allow them to have more practise until they are comfortable with the topics.
