My name is Aisha I studied Biology, Chemistry, and Sociology at A-level and am currently an Optometry student, which keeps me deeply engaged with scientific concepts on a daily basis. This strong academic foundation allows me to teach both subjects with clarity, confidence, and real-world relevance. I am a dedicated and compassionate tutor that has a heavy background in teaching students Biology, Chemistry, Science and Maths. I focus on helping students build a strong understanding of the topics they may be struggling followed by sufficient and plentiful exam application practise to help build confidence for exams. I’ve previously worked as a tutor online and completed a Teaching and Mentoring Programme in person specifically designed for supporting GCSE students. My teaching style is clear, structured, and supportive. I make complex ideas simple and use relatable examples to help students connect with the material. Whether a student is aiming for top grades or trying to gain confidence in the basics, I provide a patient, focused, and motivating environment for them to learn and succeed. I have just started university and I am eager to help my students in a supportive way with a dynamic based on mutual respect. Outside of my studies I love to watch football, go on hikes in the South Downs and read the financial times, as I am of course interested in any developments in markets. I went to Sackville School, East Grinstead and completed 12 GCSE's and one level 2 certificate in Further Maths, all at grade 7 and above. I then progressed to my A-Levels, achieving A*AAA in Maths, Further Maths, Economics and Physics. During my time I also gained a Gold Certificate in the Senior Maths Challenge and participated in the Senior Maths Kangaroo, whilst also participating in the FCDO Next generation Economics essay competition.

I am currently studying Law at University and have over a year of tutoring experience. I find it really rewarding to help students achieve their greatest potential and enjoy tutoring. Reaping the benefits and seeing students improve is such a lovely experience to witness. I am currently studying for my bachelors degree in Law at the University of Birmingham and I have A-levels in Law, English Literature and Criminology. I achieved 8s in both English Language & Literature at GCSE, furthering this to A-level. I enjoy essay-based subjects!
