Hi! I'm Izy, and I recently completed my degree in Applied Linguistics at the University of Warwick - BA Language, Culture and Communication. I previously tutored younger children at my high school, and have since taught ESL in Peru, Ecuador and Mexico. I thoroughly enjoy both teaching English as a second language, and tutoring English subjects in the UK. I completed A-Levels in History, English Language and Maths (A*A*A), and am hoping to work as a paediatric Speech and Language therapist, after completing my Masters. I am competent in AQA Exam Boards. At University I competed at an international level for music, and really enjoy reading and learning new languages in my free time! I am currently obtaining my 120-hour TEFL certificate, as well as my Level 2 Understanding Autism qualification. I attended a state school, receiving eight grade 9s, and two grade 8s at GCSE, and A*A*A at A-Level (History, English Language, Maths). I recently graduated from the University of Warwick with a 1st Class BA Hons in Language, Culture and Communication (Applied Linguistics), completing a dissertation in phonetics & phonology.

Hello, I’m Ambrin an experienced tutor with several years of teaching a wide range of subjects to UK students of all ages, up to A-level. Hi! My name is Tan. The subjects that I teach are Geography, Psychology, and English to students of all ages. I’m patient, approachable, and enjoy helping others to achieve to their fullest potential. In my free time I love anything animal, nature, or geography related and I love spending time with my dog Reginald! At school I achieved 9 GCSEs grades 9-6, I then completed my A-Levels in English Literature, Psychology, and Geography where I achieved AAB. I went on to study Psychology at the University of Westminster. I have been tutoring for 9 years while I was at school and during university. I also have experience teaching students with various SEN needs.

I am a dedicated and motivated individual with a strong passion for helping students progress and reach their full potential. With over 2 years of experience working with students of all ages, I enjoy taking on new challenges, setting goals, and creating a supportive environment where learners feel confident and engaged. Outside of tutoring, I love doing henna art, reading crime thriller books, and spending quality time in social activities with family and friends.
