I’m Joseph, a postgraduate Computing and Information Systems student at Queen Mary University of London with a background in Geography and Business. I specialise in helping students build confidence in Python programming, database management, and related areas. I take a supportive and structured approach, breaking down complex topics into simple steps so students can understand and apply them I am currently studying for a part-time MSc in Computing and Information Systems at Queen Mary University of London, where I am developing strong skills in programming, database management, and information systems. Prior to this, I completed a BA (Hons) in Geography with Business at the University of Nottingham, which gave me a solid foundation in analytical thinking, research, and data interpretation. This blend of technical and business-focused education allows me to support students with both computing subjects and broader problem-solving skills.

I am a results-oriented, dedicated, and enthusiastic individual with strong interpersonal skills who has maintained a positive attitude in all situations. I enjoy learning new things, taking on challenges, and finding practical solutions to problems. Whether working independently or as part of a team, I bring a strong sense of responsibility, attention to detail, and a genuine commitment to doing my best. My role of Head Girl at my past school, St John's College allowed me to improve my time management skills as I had to balance this role alongside my A Level examinations and UCAS deadlines. I've been a ballet dancer since the age of 4 and have completed my Grade 8 aswell as my Intermediate qualification. I've also completed my RAD Assistant Teacher Training course which helped my organisational skills and highlights my dedication to teaching others. I want to teach because I enjoy helping others understand topics they once found difficult and seeing their confidence grow. Maths can feel intimidating, and I find it rewarding to break concepts down in a clear, supportive way that makes learning feel achievable. Teaching allows me to share my knowledge while making a positive, practical difference to students’ academic journeys. Hi, my name is Mads! I am currently attending the University St Andrews, studying for an MLitt in Intellectual History, which is essentially the history of learning and thinking. I recently graduated from the University of Warwick with a first class BA in Modern History. I’m a friendly and approachable tutor, excited to share my love for learning.
