I am an experienced and dedicated educator committed to helping students reach their full potential through engaging, interactive, and student-centered lessons. With a strong track record of improving scores, I adapt my teaching methods to suit each learner’s needs. I specialize in teaching 11+, Primary Maths, and GCSE subjects, including Science (Physics, Chemistry, Biology) and Mathematics. My approach fosters confidence, critical thinking, and a genuine understanding of concepts, ensuring students excel academically while enjoying the learning process. As a highly effective online tutor, I hold a TESOL certificate and have over three years of experience teaching 11+, Primary Maths, and GCSE subjects, including Science (Physics, Chemistry, Biology) and Mathematics. Currently completing my Bachelor of Engineering degree in Mechanical Engineering, I bring both academic expertise and practical teaching experience to my lessons. Having achieved top grades (A) in GCSE Mathematics, Physics, and Biology, I understand the challenges students face and tailor my teaching to help them succeed. My approach fosters a dynamic and engaging learning environment, building confidence and ensuring students master key concepts to achieve their academic goals.

I'm quite passionate about helping students succeed because I've been in the same situation myself. I’m a patient and approachable tutor who thrives on seeing pupils grow in confidence and understanding. I have a good background in Physics and Maths, I tutor up to A-level in Maths, backed by top grades (9 in GCSE Maths, A* in A-level Maths, and A in Further Maths). I’ve helped students achieve their academic goals, including guiding a family friend to an A in A-level Maths, securing her place at her first-choice university. My lessons are engaging, supportive, and designed to challenge students while encouraging them to take risks and learn from their mistakes. I often use graph sketches, Venn diagrams and rough drawings to help illustrate problems. Outside of tutoring, I’m passionate about sports, especially football, tennis, and basketball, and I’m an avid Manchester United fan even if they're not very good! I attended Haberdashers' Aske's Hatcham College where I completed both my GCSEs and A-levels. I studied Mathematics, Further Mathematics, Business studies and Computer Science at A-level. After my A-levels I went to the University of Nottingham where I graduated with a BSc in Mathematics and Economics.

I have worked as a Data Analyst for a year, which has been a fulfilling experience creating dashboards in Tableau and utilising advanced functionalities in Excel. However, the time has come for me to move onto new endeavours. I plan to spend the next year or two contributing to a business that prepares detailed past paper solutions for the challenging STEP Mathematics examinations, while also developing new IT skills. It is during this time that I intend to educate others in Mathematics and Science. 09/2021 to 09/2022 MSc Health Data Science London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine Modules include Genomics, Survival Analysis, and Bayesian Statistics. I teach senior high school mathematics at all levels, from foundational to advanced. With years of experience as a government tax specialist and roles as a system analyst, programmer, and statistician in IT, I transitioned to teaching, which has always been my passion. I began tutoring in college to support my expenses and discovered the rewarding challenge of working with a student with dyscalculia. Through tailored strategies and building strong rapport, she succeeded. My diverse background has made me resourceful and innovative, enhancing my effectiveness in both teaching and problem-solving. I hold a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics from St. Scholastica’s College, Manila, where I completed challenging courses such as Calculus, Statistical Analysis, Number Theory, and Linear Algebra. I also pursued post-graduate studies in Mathematics Education at the Polytechnic University of the Philippines, focusing on educational strategies and child development, with research on learning disabilities. Although I couldn’t complete my thesis due to budget constraints, I am skilled in teaching all levels of mathematics, including Algebra, Trigonometry, Geometry, Statistics, and Business Mathematics.
