I have been tutoring with GoStudent for almost a year now, having formerly worked at museums, churches and summer camps. I enjoy working with children and am a current Sunday-School teacher and former volunteer with several youth charities. I also have two years of classroom experience with Years 2 and 3, but am happy to work with children of any age, teaching English, Maths, History, Latin, and RE. During the sessions, I work with my students through the agreed upon topic paying close attention to the core concepts, we go through some exam-style questions, and also learn how to frame the answers in the way examiners expect. I also share effecting studying and memory techniques to enable them to better learn and master their content. In my spare time, I enjoy singing (I'm currently taking a music theory class and hope to progress to one day play the cello) and dancing. These help me unwind and also have fun! Hi my name is Fatima! I am a passionate and positive individual who would love to help support you in your studies. I have recently completed my A-Levels in Psychology, Sociology and Religious Studies. I love to help students understand challenging topics and build their confidence even when it becomes challenging. I believe everyone learns differently, so I will adapt my lessons to suit each student. This involves breaking down challenging topics, practising exam questions, quizzes, active recall and creating engaging revision sessions. As I’ve recently been a student myself, I understand the pressures of exams, grades and revision. I want to make my lessons supportive and encouraging, so students feel comfortable asking questions and making mistakes. We will work through it together and become more confident. I attended Rochdale Sixth Form and completed my A-Levels (2024-2026). My subjects were Psychology, Sociology and Religious Studies (Philosophy, Theology and Ethics). I have experience in working with high school students who were choosing their A-Levels. I volunteered to help in sessions for A-Level Religious Studies and helped explain to students what this A-Level involves. I will now be a student at The Open University and I will be studying Psychology with Counselling as my Bachelors Degree. Lastly, I specialise in A-Level Psychology, Sociology and Religious Studies. I achieved AAA and have always been very passionate in all three of my subjects.
