Hi, I’m Safoora, currently a third-year medical student with a strong passion for education across a range of subjects. Medicine has taught me not just the importance of hard work, but also how to communicate complex ideas clearly and patiently — skills I bring into my tutoring sessions. I tutor GCSE Biology, chemistry, combined science and psychology, as well as KS3 and KS2 Science. I understand that subjects like biology and chemistry can sometimes feel overwhelming, so I focus on breaking down difficult concepts into manageable, straightforward steps tailored to how each student learns best. I received my early education at different primary schools, which provided me with a strong academic foundation. I then completed my GCSEs and pursued A‑levels. I am now currently a third‑year medical student at the University of Nottingham, and alongside my studies I’ve gained experience tutoring students in a range of subjects, helping them build confidence and improve their academic performance.

I am a first-year Mathematics and Statistics student at the University of Warwick. I have been living in the UK for the past five years, where I completed my GCSEs and A Levels while born and raised in Hong Kong. I studied Mathematics, Further Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry at A Level, giving me recent first-hand experience to understand the challenges that student face. What makes me stand out as a tutor is my ability to communicate complex ideas in a clear and approachable way and try to spark their interest in the subjects. My goal is to explain concepts methodically to allow students to understand and build confidence in the subject. My aim is to ensure that students grasp the reasoning behind each method while developing the fluency needed to apply their knowledge when required. I will try to tailor my lessons to each student's individual goals through encouragement, critical thinking while most importantly developing independent study habits that will benefit them throughout their education. In addition, my experience volunteering to teach mathematics to primary school students has shown me the importance of patience, encouragement, and building mutual trust. I have studied in the United Kingdom and I completed my GCSEs and A levels at The Manchester Grammar School. I studied the subjects English Literature, English Language, Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Mathematics, Geography, History, Electronics, Chinese and achieved 8 grade 9s and 2 grade 8s. I studied Mathematics, Further mathematics, Chemistry, Physics for my A levels and achieved 2 A*s in Mathematics and Further Mathematics and 2 As.
