Hello! I am currently studying Theoretical Physics at the University of Bath. My main pastimes include hiking/camping, going to the gym, and running, so I do hope that I can relate to many of you! For me, tutoring is developing a clear understanding of subject knowledge instead of regurgitation of facts; learning should be to question and to think critically rather than to memorise. With me as a tutor, you can expect to gain a deep insight into your subject and acquire the ability to excel in your exams. I attended Swanmore College Of Technology where I studied 10 GCSE's achieving 5 9's in (Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Enterprise and marketing and English literature)- 4 8's ( Maths, Computer science, English language and History) 1 7 ( Further maths). In my A- levels I achieved an A* in Maths, an A in Further Maths, an A in Physics and an A* in an extended project qualification for which I did extensive research in quantum mechanics and furthered my understanding of the double slit experiment exponentially (in both the quantum and classical realm). Currently I am a first year undergraduate at the University Of Bath studying Theoretical Physics.

I am an online science tutor with a bachelor's degree in Pharmacy. Subjects I teach : Lower level: Biology, Chemistry, 11+, and Math. GCSE: Chemistry, Physics, Biology, Psychology, and Math. IGCSE: Chemistry, Physics, Math, and Biology. A level: Biology. Over the years, I have had the privilege of supporting and guiding students through GCSE, IGCSE, and A-level studies across education boards, including AQA, OCR, Edexcel, and WJEC. My approach combines tailored strategies to help each student build confidence, master key concepts, and achieve their academic goals. My teaching style is interactive and student-centered, delivered in a warm and friendly learning environment. Currently, I am further enhancing my skills by undertaking a Data Analyst course.

I teach senior high school mathematics at all levels, from foundational to advanced. With years of experience as a government tax specialist and roles as a system analyst, programmer, and statistician in IT, I transitioned to teaching, which has always been my passion. I began tutoring in college to support my expenses and discovered the rewarding challenge of working with a student with dyscalculia. Through tailored strategies and building strong rapport, she succeeded. My diverse background has made me resourceful and innovative, enhancing my effectiveness in both teaching and problem-solving. I hold a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics from St. Scholastica’s College, Manila, where I completed challenging courses such as Calculus, Statistical Analysis, Number Theory, and Linear Algebra. I also pursued post-graduate studies in Mathematics Education at the Polytechnic University of the Philippines, focusing on educational strategies and child development, with research on learning disabilities. Although I couldn’t complete my thesis due to budget constraints, I am skilled in teaching all levels of mathematics, including Algebra, Trigonometry, Geometry, Statistics, and Business Mathematics.
