I’m an ESL teacher with eight years of experience, and I genuinely enjoy helping students become more confident in using English. Over the years, I’ve worked with different types of learners, so I’ve learned how to adjust my teaching style depending on what my students need. Outside the classroom, I volunteer in my community, especially working with youth. This is something very important to me because I believe education can really change lives. Hi, I’m Lily and I’m a 19 year old student at the University of Leeds currently on my second year of completing the joint-honours degree of Spanish and International Relations. I have a passion for tutoring and I have been doing it for years in multiple different secondary schools, so I know how to engage with students and adapt my teaching methods to the particular student to ensure they can achieve the highest grade possible in a fun and relaxed setting. I teach Spanish after studying the language at GCSE, A-level, and degree level, so I would say I have expert knowledge in this area to help students who are keen to learn of all ages. We can have fun whilst we learn as I truly believe you learn the most and remember the most when you are enjoying what you are doing.
