My name is Promise, and I am a dedicated tutor with over two years of experience helping students build confidence and achieve their academic goals. I am also a medical student, which has strengthened my discipline, problem solving skills, and passion for education. I truly love learning and enjoy sharing that passion with others, and I make a strong effort to keep lessons engaging and fun so students stay motivated and excited to learn. I believe every student learns differently, so I tailor my teaching style to suit individual needs, strengths, and learning preferences. My approach is friendly, patient, and supportive, creating a comfortable environment where students feel confident asking questions and learning at their own pace. I focus on clear explanations, effective study habits, and steady improvement. I especially love seeing my students progress over time, whether that means improved grades, stronger understanding, or growing confidence. Supporting students through their learning journey and celebrating their achievements is what motivates me most. I have a strong and diverse educational background. I attended a private Spanish primary school and completed part of my secondary education there, which helped me develop strong academic foundations and adaptability in learning. After moving to the UK, I completed my GCSEs and achieved excellent results, earning all 8s and 9s, including two Level 2 Distinctions. I then went on to study A Levels in Biology, Chemistry, and Mathematics, achieving three As, and I also earned an A in AS Level Sociology in Year 12. I am currently a first year medical student at the University of Manchester, where I continue to build on my academic skills and passion for learning.

I am a dedicated and passionate teacher who believes in creating a supportive and engaging learning environment. I enjoy helping students grow not only academically but also in confidence and curiosity. I value patience, clear communication, and lifelong learning. Outside the classroom, I enjoy reading, learning new skills, and finding creative ways to bring lessons to life. I appreciate meaningful conversations, organization, and collaboration, and I’m looking to connect with people who value education, responsibility, and personal growth. I am a dedicated and patient tutor with a strong academic background and a genuine passion for supporting students to achieve their full potential. I hold IGCSE qualifications in Mathematics, English Literature, and English Language, as well as a GCSE in Psychology. In addition I am doing a degree in Maths as a secondary education teacher.

I am a structural engineer with a background in engineering and architecture. I was an IB student myself so I know how much pressure A Level, IB and GCSE students can be under. I can aid students in understanding tricky concepts by breaking down every problem into manageable pieces. I have a passion for teaching young minds and would love to help your children reach their full potential! I have a Bachelors of architecture and a Masters of engineering from UCL. I completed my IB diploma at The International School of Brussels in 2019. I focused my studies on computational fluid dynamics and have a specialized interest in English literature.

Lower level - Maths and Science Secondary level - Maths and Science GCSE - Science and Biology Exam board experience - I have been tutoring students aiming for GCSE, AQA, N4, N5, SATS and grammar school exams. SEND experience - I have tutored students with SEND for three years which included students with Dyslexia, dyscalculia, AD I am a graduate of the University of Wolverhampton with a BSC Hons in Biomedical Science with Second class upper. I have completed my ALs in Biology Stream including Biology, Chemistry, and Physics. I have completed my GCE OL including Science, Maths, IT, English, and Business Studies.
