Hi my name is Stuart Smith. I have completed 19 years of successful teaching. I have gained experience of teaching years 7 to 11 Science and several years teaching A levels in Chemistry and Physics. Recently I was an examiner for Cambridge A level Chemistry. I have used my experience to develop a dynamic positive teaching style. Across the academic spectrum students find popular science in the media engaging and I make full use of this. Before coming into teaching I enjoyed many years working in the Shipbuilding Industry. This invaluable experience has enabled me to have knowledge of life outside the classroom and has enabled me to form a more rounded character. This has benefited work as a tutor as well as strengthening my ability as a team player. I have A levels in Biology, Chemistry , Physics and Mathematics. I studied BSc Chemistry at The University of Bristol and went on to study a PGCE in Science at The University of Bristol. A large coponent of my degree course included Chemistry , Physics and Mathematics.

Enthusiastic, patient and experienced STEM tutor! I make learning personalised and effective with a range of techniques. From acronyms, ways of thinking and visual aids, I've come to posses many tips and tricks and can't wait to pass them on. Let’s achieve greatness, while enjoying the journey! Currently studying Civil Engineering at the University of Manchester, with a solid backbone in maths and physics. With a love of STEM, I’ve participated in many extracurricular competitions, including Physics Olympiad and Computational Thinking challenges.

I’m a dedicated mathematics educator with a strong background in engineering and extensive experience in teaching advanced-level mathematics. Holding a Bachelor of Engineering degree, I have seamlessly blended my technical expertise with a passion for teaching. I have a Bachelor's degree in Engineering which I completed in 2018. During my Engineering I got exposure to Mathematics and Science. I also have keen interest in technical which I often use during my teaching. This helps me to explain the concept in an easy to understand way. I always prefer to use realtime examples while teaching.
