Hello! My name is Stephanie Mazambi and I’m in my second year at King’s College London studying Medicine. Alongside my academic, teaching students is a genuine passion of mine as I love to help students unlock their full potential and secure the grades they deserve. Guiding peers through the intricacies of academics has been my joy. From achieving stellar GCSE results, including 2x 7`s, 2x 9`s, and 5x 8`s, to securing an A in A-Level Biology, my journey has been marked by dedication to learning. Also, recently completing my A-levels, I understand how hard and frustrating preparation for exams can be and hope to be a helping hand to those who need it. Have previously been involved in Regional + National Lego Robotic Competitions and have mentored for students after. Currently, I am studying Medicine at King`s College London where biology and chemistry are still very valuable and I would be able to offer any advice to any prospective medical students. I'm not just here for the grades; I'm eager to share valuable insights and tips so you can fully enjoy your academics to the fullest. Let's make your educational journey a success!

I have been tutoring with GoStudent for a couple of months now, having formerly worked at museums, churches and summer camps. I enjoy working with children and am a former Sunday-School teacher and volunteer with several youth charities. I also have two years of classroom experience with Years 2 and 3, but am happy to work with children of any age, teaching English, Maths, History, Latin, and RE. Please note I do not take adult learners at this time. I am a graduate of the University of Cambridge with a first-class degree in History, also having taken papers in Classics and Theology. I won several prizes during my degree, including three prize scholarships and the Roy Porter Prize for History in my second year. Prior to my degree, I took three A-Levels in History, Maths and English, receiving all A*s, and prior to that, ten GCSEs, receiving all 9s.

I am a Dedicated Teacher with a 6 year plus track record of successfully encouraging and leading pupils. Highly organised, motivational teacher with an exceptional behaviour management skill set. Expert in providing constructive feedback to maintain pupils’ passion for learning. I pride myself on my ability to help students attain the grades they want – even on topics they don’t especially like! Whether it is Language or Literature, I’ve managed to produce amazing results, even after only a few weeks of tutoring. . I have a proven ability to engage and motivate young learners from a diversity of backgrounds, age groups and abilities and remain passionately committed to raising student outcomes. I am very flexible with my teaching style and will go above and beyond for the academic development of each student. I am well versed with their mark scheme and awarding criteria. I provide a world class experience of learning, that suits the needs of each individual learner. My lessons are fun, dynamic, engaging, challenging and full packed with excellent learning resources and activities that help the student achieve and success at obtain great results, My teaching style is a unique blend of vibrancy and professionalism. I've always believed that both teaching and learning should be fun and this is the ethos I adhere to in every lesson. I have a proven track record of significantly improving students' grades and I believe this is because my students genuinely enjoy being in my classes. Once the topic is consolidated, the second part of the session consists of past paper question practise. We work together through topical exam questions to prepare the student for the layout and standard of question they will receive in their exam. In my opinion, question practise is vital for success in english exams and is a key form of revision. If a student can confidently work through past paper questions on the topic covered, we can both feel confident they will succeed in their exams BA degree in Religious studies and education studies. I was born in London but raised in Barcelona, so I am fluent in English, Spanish and Catalan. I am currently studying Biomedical Sciences at the University of Warwick. I enjoy going on walks, visiting historical sites, meeting friends, swimming, reading, and writing. I did a Spanish Baccalaureate in Barcelone, at Colegi Montserrat de Vallvidrera. I chose the Science baccalaureate, which included Maths, Biology and Chemistry, as well as History, English, Spanish, Catalan and Philosophy. Currently I am obtaining by BCs in Biomedical Sciences at the University of Warwick.
