My name is Saffron, and I am a 2nd year Neuroscience student at the University of Manchester. Getting into this course at a Russel Group University required stellar GCSE and A Level grades which I was able to achieve through thorough and dedicated studies and personal teaching. I believe that active learning through frequent recall, question and answer sessions and flashcards is the best way to retain information. Combining this with practice paper questions from the start of teaching guarantees success. I am a university student studying Biomedical science in Nottingham. I enjoy studying Biology and chemistry. I will be tutoring Secondary biology and chemistry and also GCSE which I achieved A*s (8) in. I am passionate about studying and enjoy teaching others. I studied Biology and chemistry at Alevel as well as Maths. In GCSE I achieved A*s in both Chemistry and biology and I am currently studying Biomedical science at university, in my in my third year (out of four). I am currently achieving high marks at university and got a 1st overall last year so hoping to keep that up this year. I will be graduating in 2027 and hopefully go on to do a lot more work within Biology and chemistry. I am constantly learning new topics at university so I feel my knowledge is very good and I would have a good understanding about the biology and chemistry topics that students will query about.

I am an enthusiastic and dedicated individual with a strong passion for teaching and supporting children in their academic development. I enjoy working with students of all ages, from primary school through to A-level, and I take great pride in helping learners build confidence and achieve their academic potential. Alongside my academic background, I have a wide range of interests including playing sports and cooking different recipes, which I enjoy in my free time. I am also multilingual and can speak both Bengali and Urdu fluently, allowing me to communicate effectively with students and families from diverse backgrounds. I have valuable teaching experience, having previously run my own private tuition sessions for primary school children, primarily focusing on English.
