I have a PhD in physics from Newcastle University. I was a visiting researcher at the University of Cambridge and Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology (KAIST). I am therefore highly qualified to teach STEM subjects. I have extensive experience (100 hours) teaching Maths to GCSE students online. I have also taught Physics and Maths to A Level students for several years during summer schools. I have also led modules for undergraduate students in Physics at all stages. I enjoy building a connection with my students and tailoring my sessions to suit their needs. I am able to breakdown complex problems into bitesize pieces to ensure that students can make tangible progress in a short amount of time and build their confidence. I aim to make learning enjoyable and stress-free by breaking down complex ideas into simple, relatable concepts. My approach is patient and encouraging, aiming to help students feel comfortable and motivated to achieve their best and more while instilling confidence in their ways of thinking and problem-solving. I have completed my A-Levels in Biology, Chemistry and Psychology and am now studying Biomedical Science, specialising in biology, chemistry and a certain level of maths as well. My studies emphasise critical thinking, problem-solving, and hands-on lab skills. Beyond academics, I have a strong background in teaching and mentoring. As a co-founder of our Sixth Form's first Medical Society, I guided my peers through everything needed to go through university applications, interviews for not only medical school but also related courses. I have continued this by mentoring first-year university students, helping them adjust to coursework and academic challenges, and personalising teaching methods for each student. My support has led to positive results, with the students excelling in assignments and finding my guidance invaluable.

Currently a cover supply at a school therefore I am up to date with new and current maths and GCSE all science . I have been tutoring maths and all sciences for 7 years. I have experience working with ages from 5-16 and also experienced working with SEN students. Throughout the pandemic, I have been tutoring online, therefore, having an understanding of how to keep students engaged . I also teach 11+ to students who would like to join grammar schools and independent schools and private schools. Achieved A*-A’s in GCses for maths and triple science . Continued with maths and science into A-levels. Also studied further maths at GCses and also able to teach it . Can also help with student who study Statistics GCSE. I can also aid in 11+ students as i am familiar.
