My name is Santosh Gopalan, an I am a graduate from the University of Surrey with an Honours degree in Economics. As a friendly and approachable tutor, I am passionate bout helping students not just understand maths, but genuinely enjoy it. I believe that with the right guidance and encouragement, every student can excel - my goal is to build confidence alongside competence, ensuring my students are equipped to achieve the top grades. I have studied GCSE Maths and achieved grade 8. I have also studied A-Level Maths and achieved grade A. Hi I'm Samarth, I'm an international Master student at LMU, Munich studying Molecular and Cellular Biology. I've always been told by my peers how I have a flair for explaining things in a crisp and clear manner and hence I thought of joining GoStudent as a Tutor. I have loved biology right for as long as I remember and it was a lecture in high school about Mendelian genetics is what made me pursue a career in academics. I believe biology is best understood when one can visualize the concepts well and when each of the processes are broken down to the steps that they are composed of. It's when difficult concepts are broken down into easier digestible concepts is when studying really becomes fun. Biology and Chemistry go hand in hand, a good grasp of concepts in chemistry is extremely important to pursue biology at higher levels. This therefore also makes me pretty well versed with Chemistry upto A levels. Hobbies: Apart from academics, I've been an avid reader and have had an equally intense love for the arts particularly singing and painting. I have been classically trained in both music and art, and I believe having a co-curricular activity one enjoys and has talent for should be pursued by everyone. I also am an avid reader and absolutely love a nice slice of life or academic research paper to keep both my creative outlet and knowledge base updated. I completed my schooling and Bachelors in Biomedical Science at the University of Delhi, India and am then went on to pursue my masters in Molecular and Cellular Biology in Germany at LMU, Munich. I've had a penchant for the sciences particularly biology and chemistry since middle school which led me to pursue my bachelors in Biomedical Science from the University of Delhi. Since I want to further my career into research I'm now working as a Research Assistant in Munich and plan to pursue my PhD in Epigenetics as well as actively communicate my research through scientific illustrations in the coming years.

Hello! I am currently studying Theoretical Physics at the University of Bath. My main pastimes include hiking/camping, going to the gym, and running, so I do hope that I can relate to many of you! For me, tutoring is developing a clear understanding of subject knowledge instead of regurgitation of facts; learning should be to question and to think critically rather than to memorise. With me as a tutor, you can expect to gain a deep insight into your subject and acquire the ability to excel in your exams. I attended Swanmore College Of Technology where I studied 10 GCSE's achieving 5 9's in (Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Enterprise and marketing and English literature)- 4 8's ( Maths, Computer science, English language and History) 1 7 ( Further maths). In my A- levels I achieved an A* in Maths, an A in Further Maths, an A in Physics and an A* in an extended project qualification for which I did extensive research in quantum mechanics and furthered my understanding of the double slit experiment exponentially (in both the quantum and classical realm). Currently I am a first year undergraduate at the University Of Bath studying Theoretical Physics.

I'm from a very small village near Barcelona, and growing up there gave me the ability to grow up bilingual. I consider myself to be very sociable, and my ultimate favourite thing is to travel and meet new people, I believe that it's the most enriching experience that anyone can have. I am fluent in Spanish, Catalan and English. I attended an extracurricular private English school from a very young age, what made me capable of acquiring an acceptable level of English before moving to England. I've spent the last three years teaching Spanish speakers English, and preparing them for the Cambridge exams. I definitely believe that my experience teaching English to Spanish children and my attendance to an English academy is an absolute game changer, as I know first hand what it takes to try to learn a new language - and let me tell you, it is possible! From the age of 3 I attended a private school in Spain, where Spanish and Catalan were equally spoken. I consider both to be my mother language. From the age of 8 I started attending an English academy as an extracurricular activity. There I was prepared to take the Cambridge English Official Exams. I spent 10 years there, and I'm happy to say that it was the knowledge and experience that I gained there what motivated me to go to university in England. I'm currently studying in London, and I know first hand how learning a new language can completely change your life.
