Glaymar was fantastic in my daughterâs first Spanish lesson. She immediately showed a genuine passion for teaching and created a warm, encouraging environment. My daughter is 8 years old and can be quite shy, but by the end of the lesson she was asking questions about the language and clearly growing in confidence. It was wonderful to see her coming out of her shell so quickly. We are very impressed with Glaymarâs approach and would highly recommend her.

Glaymar is awesome!! She makes lessons fun and explains things well, so students learn not just HOW to do things but also WHY its done that way, which gives a greater understanding of Spanish.

I feel relaxed learning with Glaymar and she provides you with confidence whilst still pushing you to surpass your boundaries, which is exactly what I wanted from my tutor.

Iâm Ashwini! I'm currently doing a Masters in Natural Sciences specialising in Maths and Physics. I tutor online for GCSE and A-level Maths, Physics, Chemistry and Combined Science. I love helping students get that âclickâ moment, turning tricky topics into something clear, confident, and even enjoyable! Lessons are high-energy but structured: we build understanding fast, practise the skills that earn marks, and get real progress. Outside tutoring I play piano, rock climb, train in the gym/boxing and enjoy art. Iâm currently studying a Masters in Natural Sciences at Durham University, specialising primarily in Mathematics and Physics. My degree is highly quantitative and has given me strong problem-solving, clear mathematical communication, and the ability to break complex ideas into simple, teachable steps. This background means Iâm particularly strong at teaching key GCSE and A-level areas where students often get stuck: building physical intuition in mechanics (forces, moments, energy, motion), vectors, and the maths that underpins progress: algebra, trigonometry, and calculus (differentiation and integration) taught in an exam-focused, step-by-step way. I also studied Chemistry modules in my first year, which strengthened both my subject knowledge and my ability to teach Chemistry clearly. Iâm confident supporting students with the parts of Chemistry that often feel hardest: moles, organic chemistry, bonding and structure, equilibria, acids and bases, and practical-style questions where method matters. Overall, my education means I can help students not just memorise content, but understand it well enough to apply it confidently in exam questions.

Hi, Iâm Jace Steele, an enthusiastic and dedicated math teacher who believes that mathematics should be understood, appreciated, and enjoyed. Iâm passionate about helping students discover that math is more than just numbers and formulas. For me, itâs about logic, patterns, and real-life problem-solving. I design my lessons to be interactive and engaging, using relatable examples and practical applications so students can see how math connects to their everyday lives. My goal is not just to help them get the right answers, but to build their confidence, strengthen their critical thinking skills, and develop a positive mindset toward learning. As a teacher, I value patience, clarity, and encouragement. I understand that every student learns differently, so I adapt my teaching approach to match their pace and learning style. Whether in a classroom setting or during one-on-one sessions, I strive to create a supportive environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and learning from mistakesâbecause thatâs where real growth truly happens. Outside the classroom, I enjoy solving Rubikâs Cube puzzles and playing chess. These activities sharpen my analytical thinking, creativity, and problem-solving skillsâqualities that I bring into my teaching every day. I strongly believe that with the right guidance, consistent practice, and the right mindset, every student can succeed in mathematicsâand Iâm here to guide them every step of the way. I graduated with a degree in Mathematics Education, where I built a strong foundation in mathematical theories, effective teaching strategies, and classroom management techniques. My academic training prepared me to design structured yet engaging lessons, differentiate instruction for diverse learning styles, and create a positive learning environment where students feel supported and motivated to succeed. Over the past seven years of teaching experience, I have continuously refined these skills in both classroom and online settings. This experience has strengthened my ability to simplify complex concepts, manage different learner needs, and adapt my approach to ensure that each student truly understands the material. Through years of hands-on practice, Iâve learned how to balance academic rigor with encouragement, helping students build not only competence in mathematics but also confidence in their abilities. Combining my formal education with seven years of real-world teaching experience, I am committed to delivering lessons that are clear, engaging, and impactfulâempowering every student to reach their full potential in mathematics.

I am extremely passionate about Mathematics leading me to continue studying it to a higher level at university, alongside Economics. Having passed the 11+ and gotten into The Henrietta Barnett School, as well as having achieved a grade 9 at GCSE level, I have been in the shoes of all of my students. Therefore, I am able to understand the discipline required to achieve such outcomes and am willing to tailor my teaching style to benefit each individual. Some of my hobbies include cycling, swimming, reading and sudoku! I am currently in my first year of completing a BSc in Mathematics and Economics at the University of Nottingham. For secondary school and sixth form I attended The Henrietta Barnett School, where I achieved a grade 9 in GCSE Mathematics. I completed the 11+ in 2018, where I sat exams for CEM, CSSE and HBS, passing all of them.

I am 19 years old taking a year out before going to study economics at university. I studied maths, physics and economics at A-level and got A*AA. I was captain of my first XV rugby team and have put on workshops for younger students so leading and helping peers is in my nature. Having recently left school, A-levels are fresh in my memory. I understand how a student wants to learn and what they may be struggling on in the syllabus. I attended Bradford Grammar School, where I was awarded a means-tested bursary in the 11+. I have 11 GCSEs and 3 A-levels all of equivalent grade A and above. Physics at A-level, in particular, forced me to work hard and be a critical thinker. I enjoyed the challenge of applying knowledge.
