I have gained valuable tutoring experience in Mathematics, Biology, and Chemistry by working with students across a range of ages, abilities, and UK exam boards. I have supported students who are studying GCSEs (as well as the Scottish equivalents) under AQA, Edexcel (Pearson), OCR and other boards, so I understand that each board has its own style of questions, emphasis, and mark schemes. This allows me to tailor my teaching to what students actually need for their specific exams, rather than taking a one-size-fits-all approach. In Mathematics, I have helped students build confidence in topics from core numeracy and algebra through to higher-level work such as trigonometry, statistics, and calculus. Many students arrive feeling anxious about maths, so I focus on breaking problems into manageable steps and showing that mistakes are part of learning.
