Hi! My name is Fatima and I’m a passionate and experienced tutor specialising in Science, Maths, and English for KS3, GCSE, and A-Level students. I’m currently a final year university student, and outside of academics, I enjoy reading fiction, especially classic literature and psychological thrillers. I also love creative writing and exploring different ways to explain complex ideas in simple terms, which is one of the reasons I enjoy tutoring. I’d describe myself as being supportive, patient, and curious, and I’m always up for discovering new things or helping others do the same. I achieved A*s and As in Science, Maths, and English at GCSE, and an A in A-Level English Literature. I’ve been tutoring since 2020, and I’ve delivered over 400 online lessons through platforms like MyTutor and private tutoring. Hey I am Si Yeun! I'm a PhD student researching heterogeneous catalysts, and I have 1 year of experience tutoring Mathematics, Chemistry, Biology and Physics for GCSE and below students. Having had some tutoring myself during my GCSE period, I know how much of a nerve-wracking experience it is for both students and parents. With my lessons focusing on teaching based on the students' learning style, I hope to put those nerves at ease. Below is the list of subjects I teach and at which level. KS1/2/3: Mathematics, Science GCSE (Including IGCSE): Mathematics, Chemistry, Biology, Physics Current PhD student researching new catalysts for acetylene hydrogenation. My MSc achieved a First (1st) class classification in Materials for Energy and Environment at UCL, where I specialised in the interference of tyre wear particles with atmospheric ice nucleation. Obtained an upper second (2.1) classification for my BSc in Chemistry at Cardiff University. While my speciality is Chemistry on paper, maths and physics are integral to what I do in my current and previous research.

I'm a fun and active individual that likes sports and other physical activities. Just started my second year in my degree apprenticeship in data science with Airbus UK and some of my favourite hobbies include: Basketball, Cricket, movies, travelling and gaming. Attended Broughton Fields primary school when I first moved to the UK in 2011, and then went on to complete my GCSEs and A levels at Oakgrove Secondary School in Milton Keynes. Achieving high grades in both GCSEs and A levels, having done IT, Business and Mathematics in A levels.

I'm Ben and have an MSci and BA in Natural Sciences from the University of Cambridge, where I specialised in Chemistry. I have always loved learning about the sciences as they are so applicable to the world around us. I believe that every student should have positive learning experiences in the sciences. I have over two years' experience in tutoring A-Level/GCSE Maths and Science. Furthermore, I have achieved an A* grade in every A-Level subject and a grade 9 in every GCSE subject that I offer. I have invaluable knowledge of exam board specifications, how to best prepare for upcoming examinations, and how to secure those top grades. I am friendly and patient in my approach and want to help each student reach their full potential, regardless of their academic background or the level they are currently working at. I find it rewarding to help my students achieve their academic goals and see them progress to their next steps. I am very flexible in my tutoring style as I recognise every student takes a different approach to learning. I put an emphasis on working towards a goal for the student and adapt my teaching methods and resources to each individual.
