Hi I'm Samarth, I'm an international Master student at LMU, Munich studying Molecular and Cellular Biology. I've always been told by my peers how I have a flair for explaining things in a crisp and clear manner and hence I thought of joining GoStudent as a Tutor. I have loved biology right for as long as I remember and it was a lecture in high school about Mendelian genetics is what made me pursue a career in academics. I believe biology is best understood when one can visualize the concepts well and when each of the processes are broken down to the steps that they are composed of. It's when difficult concepts are broken down into easier digestible concepts is when studying really becomes fun. Biology and Chemistry go hand in hand, a good grasp of concepts in chemistry is extremely important to pursue biology at higher levels. This therefore also makes me pretty well versed with Chemistry upto A levels. Hobbies: Apart from academics, I've been an avid reader and have had an equally intense love for the arts particularly singing and painting. I have been classically trained in both music and art, and I believe having a co-curricular activity one enjoys and has talent for should be pursued by everyone. I also am an avid reader and absolutely love a nice slice of life or academic research paper to keep both my creative outlet and knowledge base updated. I completed my schooling and Bachelors in Biomedical Science at the University of Delhi, India and am then went on to pursue my masters in Molecular and Cellular Biology in Germany at LMU, Munich. I've had a penchant for the sciences particularly biology and chemistry since middle school which led me to pursue my bachelors in Biomedical Science from the University of Delhi. Since I want to further my career into research I'm now working as a Research Assistant in Munich and plan to pursue my PhD in Epigenetics as well as actively communicate my research through scientific illustrations in the coming years.

Here, I developed key skills which proved extremely useful for their progress e.g., altering my communication to their level of understanding while giving relatable and fun examples, ensuring that the students are actively engaged by asking continuous questions to assess their understanding, and each new lesson I conducted with each student was started with a quick recap of the previous lesson. I noticed that these small steps proved extremely useful in the long run for the child's academic progress. Preferred age group: GCSE (However I can also teach A-level and Primary School children) A bit about myself: I am charismatic and enthusiastic Barts and the London School of Medicine student, with a willingness to learn and grow in any field despite the challenges that may be presented. I consider myself well-rounded, excelling in both academics as well as sport e.g., Football (My favourite!) and have passion for social interaction. Through exposure to tough situations as well as reading books on the topics I have honed my emotional intelligence and communication skills which I have since applied to provide help in various avenues such as education. This has also proved useful when teaching students who's first language isn't English as my fluency in another language allowed my to better understand the students I've worked with. I am a published author who is passionate about writing short stories as means of expressing issues that many children are faced with. One such issue is bullying and I have published a book titled Scars the Bullies and The Bullied which aims to inspire readers to take action against bullying. I will work alongside my students, supporting them along each step of the way so that in the end, they can excel; not solely academically but also in life.
