Levels and Subjects: GCSE: Biology, Physics Preferred Student age group: GCSE Languages: English, Hindi, Urdu, Pashto Hello! I'm Anees. I teach physics and biology, I bring a wealth of knowledge and passion to the virtual classroom. While my journey as an online tutor spans 1 year, my dedication to education extends far beyond the digital realm. Prior to transitioning to online teaching, I spent 4 years teaching in physical classes. These experiences have equipped me with invaluable insights into effective pedagogical practices and the art of inspiring students to reach their full potential. My approach to tutoring is rooted in personalized instruction, tailored to meet the unique needs and learning styles of each student. Whether it's clarifying fundamental principles, or conducting virtual experiments, I am dedicated to empowering students with the skills and confidence to excel academically. Beyond teaching, I am passionate about reading non-fiction books and playing football. My educational journey has been marked by a dedication to learning and a passion for teaching. It began at Cadet College Kohat, where I spent five formative years from year 8 to 12. Here, I not only received a rigorous academic education but also imbibed invaluable qualities of discipline, perseverance, and leadership. Building upon this foundation, I pursued my Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery degree from Ayub Medical College. This comprehensive medical education equipped me with a deep understanding of human biology, healthcare principles, and the skills necessary to provide compassionate medical care. Following my medical studies, I embarked on a rewarding teaching career. I spent three fulfilling years at Askari Academy, where I honed my teaching skills and mentored aspiring medical professionals. Additionally, I had the privilege of teaching at Akhter Saeed Medical College for three months, further enriching my pedagogical experience. Recognizing the transformative potential of online education, I transitioned to teaching on virtual platforms. Over four months, I contributed my expertise to platforms like FTA and Tutalearning, delivering engaging and effective online instruction in subjects such as physics and biology. Throughout my educational and teaching journey, I have remained committed to fostering a supportive and stimulating learning environment where students can thrive academically and personally. My diverse experiences in both traditional and online education have equipped me with a versatile skill set and a deep appreciation for the transformative power of education. As I continue my journey as an online tutor at GoStudent, I am excited to leverage my educational background and teaching experience to empower students, inspire curiosity, and foster a lifelong love for learning.

I hold a Master's degree in Mechatronics Engineering and a Bachelor's in Mechanical Engineering, with a strong foundation in physics, chemistry, and mathematics. With experience in tutoring both school and university students, I focus on strengthening conceptual understanding and exam techniques. My teaching approach is structured, supportive, and tailored to each student’s learning style to help them excel confidently. I have pursued my education entirely within the British curriculum, starting with my GCE O Levels and A Levels. I completed my O Levels with a strong focus on science subjects including Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and Mathematics, followed by A Levels in Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, and Further Mathematics. These qualifications have provided me with a solid foundation in analytical thinking and scientific problem-solving. I hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering and a Master’s Degree in Mechatronics Engineering from the Politecnico di Torino, Italy. Throughout my academic journey, Physics has remained a core subject, both in theoretical and applied forms, including mechanics, thermodynamics, electromagnetism, and control systems. In addition to my formal education, I have gained tutoring experience in Physics, focusing on helping students understand fundamental concepts, improve problem-solving techniques, and prepare effectively for exams. My specializations include classical mechanics, dynamics, thermodynamics, and applied physics in engineering contexts. I am passionate about breaking down complex topics into digestible lessons and supporting students in building both competence and confidence in Physics.

I'm literally so overjoyed to have had the amazing opportunity to join GoStudent as a tutor back in April 2023 and I just wanted to elaborate further on my academic and in addition extracurricular skills which have equipped me greatly to be able to shine a light on my own capabilities as well as my weaknesses at this time! I think that I have developed my communication skills via group work with the rest of the tutors and programme coordinators and also have had the privilege to really just go into further detail about what actually makes me tick and I really appreciate how supportive everyone has been in terms of my development and progress thus far. But how about he excitement of sharing a wonderful session with my tutees? We usually discuss the relevance of outside-of-the-box thinking and how phenomenal it is when the student and their loved ones get to choose what will happen during the lesson itself and also set the standards regarding the content to be covered so the sessions are usually quite fun and engaging to be honest! :-) I really enjoyed my time at the UCL School of Pharmacy while studying for the MPharm degree and I am just waiting to be able to sit some deferred final year exams and graduate hopefully quite soon following a recent gap year actually. I did graduate with a first in MSci in Pharmaceutical Studies back in October 2022. Now I am just in the process of applying for medical school and tend to spend my free time on either reading novels, playing the keyboard or making artsy-craftsy notes which will hopefully contribute towards a revision blog that I am starting to establish. I also like going for walks and exploring all sorts of new exciting places within London. I did of course go to Exeter medical school back in 2017 and left (for personal reasons such as the PBL structure of the course) before joining UCL in 2018. This means I am quite agile when it comes to things like discussing interview techniques and CV requirements if needed for individual students. I also tend to motivate my tutees to stay and CONTINUE with what they are doing rather than back away, especially in the face of challenges! This is because I myself wish I hadn't left medicine and now am re-applying so it indicates my perseverence and understanding of the new and surprising aspects of the course! ;)
