Hi! My name is Mariyah, a friendly and dedicated Maths tutor currently on my gap year after completing my A-levels. I’m passionate about helping students build confidence and reach their full potential in both GCSE Maths and 11+ preparation. Having recently been through the exam process myself, I understand how to explain topics clearly, boost exam technique, and make lessons engaging and approachable. My sessions are tailored to each student’s learning style, focusing on building understanding and confidence step by step. I have recently completed my A-levels at St Clement Danes, studying Maths, Physics and Chemistry, getting BCC. These subjects have strengthened my critical thinking skills, making me have a deeper appreciation for how much we use these subjects every day. Having done the exams, I understand the struggles the students face and how to support them.

I know how difficult and draining it can be to struggle with certain topics and subjects, having been there myself! But I have 3+ years of tutoring experience so I know how to help you unlock your greatest potential, by providing you with 1-2-1 tutoring, resources, practice questions and exam tips + tricks, whilst simultaneously providing a tailored learning experience best suited to you and your learning style. As a student who is also a tutor, I completely understand the school pressure, toxic environments and negativity that surrounds exams and learning, but I’m here to show you that learning is truly fun when you know what you’re doing! Hi, I am Naomi and I am thrilled to be your online tutor. I have had the pleasure of working with students from different ages and backgrounds. I am a tutor for Mathematics and my target students are primary to secondary students. Everyone has a unique learning style, and I like to adapt my teaching approach to meet each student’s needs. I use the online interactive whiteboard for lessons which allows both parties to write, annotate or highlight on the screen. The work for every lesson is carefully designed to suit each individual's need which is identified from initial assessment and ongoing observations. I enjoy teaching because I love helping students to develop their skills and achieve their academic goals.
