I’m currently in my first year of Biomedical Science. I have a strong passion for the sciences, with an interest of sharing scientific knowledge with my peers and students. I have done my A levels Maths, Biology and Chemistry in the UK but I have a multicultural background as I moved from Italy. I used to spent my Saturday mornings teaching primary schoolers in Italy with additional learning needs. This choice was rooted by the fact that my own brothers have additional learning needs so that experience, combined with being multilingual (I can fluently speak in Hindi, Punjabi, and Italian), has shaped how I approach learning with patience making sure nobody is left behind. I want to become a tutor because it gives me satisfaction when I see students achieving their goals and see their self-confidence soar! I don't just want to teach subjects but I want to be a supportive part of their journey, helping them realize that no academic challenge is too big to overcome. I achieved my GCSEs (Maths, Physics, Combined Science, Philosophy, Latin, Italian Language and Literature, English, History, Social Sciences and PE) in Italy. After that I moved to the UK where I completed my GCSE in English language and Maths and an ESOL course at Tresham College in Corby. I continued my studies following my passion for the scientific subjects. I studied A level Maths, Chemistry and Biology, at the Corby Sixth Form, achieving a grade B in all three of my subjects. Currently I'm in my first year of Biomedical Science at the University of East Anglia. Additionally I also have completed an online course on careers available in the NHS and volunteered at my local hospital so I can provide mentorship for students interested in studying STEM degree and gain access in an health related career.

Hello, I'm Madeleine! I did my GCSEs and A-levels in London, and I am currently studying Anthropology and English at Queen's University Belfast. I tutor for English Literature and Language at GCSE and English Literature at A-level. As a tutor, I enjoy raising students' confidence in their ability to revise and to show their best work in exams. I did my GCSEs and A-levels at St Claudine's Catholic School for Girls in London. I got nine GCSEs (6-9), including English Literature (9) and Language (9), Geography (9), Religious Studies (9), and Mathematics (8). At A-level, I studied English Literature (A*), Religious Studies (A), and Geography (B). During Sixth form, I started tutoring friends and family in GSCE English. I took a gap year to work, continued tutoring, and I am currently in my first year at Queen's University Belfast studying Anthropology and English. My strengths are in essay-writing and exam preparation.

Hi, I’m Ryn Delaine, an enthusiastic and student-centered math teacher! I love helping students explore the world of mathematics in a way that is simple, engaging, and meaningful. My goal is to make learning math less intimidating and more enjoyable through step-by-step explanations, real-life applications, and interactive problem-solving that spark curiosity and build confidence in my students. In my free time, I enjoy singing and playing the guitar, which help me stay creative, relaxed, and bring positive energy into my teaching. I graduated with a degree in Mathematics Education as a Cum Laude, where I gained a strong foundation in mathematical theories, teaching strategies, and classroom management. My studies equipped me with the skills to create engaging lessons, address diverse learning styles, and foster a supportive learning environment that encourages every student to excel.

I am first class honours graduate of Bioscience. I hold a postgraduate degreen in computer science. I have won national awards for my science communication. I am also confident in teaching learners with addtional needs. Overall, I am a confident and patient tutor with a passion for helping students learn and grow confident in their abilities. I have a first class honours degree in Bioscience from the Univeristy of Limerick. I hold a level 8 postgraduate degree in software development. I won the Mary Mulvihill award for science communication for my illustrated essay. From both my background in industry in research and development and my studies I am experienced in explaining complex issues like science in a way that is easy to understand.
