Hello! My name is Emma, and I am a second-year Accounting and Finance student at Lancaster University. I achieved 9 GCSEs, ranging from 7-9, which allowed me to study Chemistry, Economics and Maths. I also gained an A* in my EPQ, which I completed in year 12, giving me crucial skills that I have carried forward to my degree. I have been tutoring for 8 months. During this time, I have helped prepare primary school students for their SATS and gained more confidence with maths in the classroom. I also prepared year 11 and 13 students for their GCSE and A levels by covering content they were unsure of and practising exam techniques. I previously gained experience mentoring GCSE students at my school. I am a student with dyslexia, so I understand the challenges students face in classroom settings. Anyone can be successful, which is why my sessions are student-led, so that they are catered towards each individual's learning style. If you are unsure of this throughout my school career, I have learnt different methods that work for me and would love to pass them on to others so that we can find a technique that works for you. I attended Rugby School, where I completed my GCSEs and A levels, and now I have gone on to study for a Bachelor's degree in Accounting and Finance at Lancaster University, where my ambition is to become an ACA Chartered Accountant. Having studied Chemistry, Economics and Maths at A level, I offer tutoring for students up to and including year 11 in Maths and Chemistry and then Economics up to and including year 13 students.

My name is Aarushi and I am a MEng Aerospace Electronic Engineering student at University of Southampton with over 5 years of tutoring experience in Maths, Further Maths and Physics. I love making tricky topics click for others and bring energy, curiosity, and the occasional space fact to every lesson! I graduated with a First Class Honours in my undergraduate studies in Aerospace Electronic Engineering, during which I was honoured with accolades including the National AI and Robotics Student of the Year award and the prestigious Arkwright Engineering Scholarship. Academically, I achieved top grades across all my GCSE and A-Level subjects, earning A*s in Mathematics, Further Mathematics, and Physics. Hi, I’m Udit! I’m currently working as a Lecturer in Medical Sciences at the University of Lancashire. I hold a PhD in Chemistry and was awarded the prestigious Marie Curie PhD Fellowship — a highly competitive international research scholarship. I also have a Master’s degree in Chemistry (with Distinction) and a First Division Bachelor’s in Chemistry. Over the past ten years, I’ve taught Science at GCSE, A Level, and undergraduate levels. I previously taught at Bedford College, where I worked closely with students studying for AQA and OCR exams. I now teach undergraduate Chemistry at university level, and I’m passionate about helping students build a deep and lasting understanding of the subject. In my lessons, I focus on strengthening core concepts so students can approach more complex ideas with confidence. I like to begin by working through a few basic questions to identify areas of focus, and then tailor the lesson accordingly. My sessions usually include discussion, problem-solving, and past paper practice, always with your goals in mind. I completed my school and sixth form education at St Paul’s Church College in Agra, India, where I achieved strong grades in science subjects, particularly Chemistry and Biotechnology. I then studied for a BSc in Chemistry and Zoology, graduating with Honours in Chemistry, and went on to complete an MSc in Chemistry with distinction at Dayalbagh Educational Institute, India. Later, I moved to the UK to pursue a PhD in Chemistry at the University of Lancashire. My doctoral research focused on improving the stability of materials used in solar panels and electronic devices. Through this, I gained hands-on experience with advanced laboratory methods and international research facilities. Alongside my academic background, I have taught science across various levels. I previously taught GCSE Science, A Level Chemistry, and Applied Science courses at Bedford College, where I also led the T Level Science programme and supported curriculum development. I now work as an Associate Lecturer in Medical Sciences at the University of Lancashire. My main area of expertise is Chemistry, particularly physical and inorganic chemistry, but I also have a solid understanding of Biology and experience supporting students across all science disciplines. I am entering my third year of General Engineering at the University of Sheffield, specialising in Systems & Control. I tutor Maths and Physics and enjoy breaking own complex topics, into clear, simple steps. I have always loved helping others understand what I have learned, and I am passionate about creating a friendly, supportive learning space where students can build confidence and reach their goals.
