My name is Oladapo, I study Accounting and Finance at the University of Warwick. I am a patient and motivated tutor who believes learning should be fun and inspiring. I tailor each lesson to suit individual learning styles and make education engaging and enjoyable. I am currently studying Accounting and Finance at the University of Warwick. I attended The Latymer School from year 7-13 and studied Maths (A), Economics (A*) and Biology (A*) at Alevel. I have experience tutoring and coaching kids as young as year 4, including SEN students.

The reason I chose to study this because it included using a lot of technical and problem-solving methods, it also included a lot of Mathematics which was one of my favourite subjects at school. I would say Algebra is one of my strong areas and I completed the Level 3 Edexcel Algebra award in secondary school. When I teach I primarily use a lot of worksheets and exam-style questions which will help the student improve on the subject and feel better prepared for any upcoming exams. If a student is struggling to understand a concept , I use diagrams, videos and allow them to have more practise until they are comfortable with the topics. Hi, I’m Tara Patel, a dedicated and passionate Math teacher! I enjoy making mathematics engaging and meaningful by connecting lessons to real-life situations and using interactive activities that spark curiosity. My goal is to help students build confidence in problem-solving and develop a genuine appreciation for numbers. I love creating a fun and supportive learning environment where every student feels encouraged to explore and succeed. In my free time, I enjoy solving puzzles, watching educational videos, and taking peaceful morning walks to start the day with a clear mind. I graduated with a Bachelor in Secondary Education, Major in Mathematics, and I also hold a Juris Doctor degree. My academic journey equipped me with strong skills in analytical thinking, problem-solving, and effective communication. Through my education, I developed expertise in creating engaging math lessons, applying various teaching strategies, and supporting students with different learning styles. My background in law further enhanced my discipline, critical thinking, and attention to detail, which I bring into my teaching to help students become logical, confident, and motivated learners.

I am a results-oriented, dedicated, and enthusiastic individual with strong interpersonal skills who has maintained a positive attitude in all situations. I enjoy learning new things, taking on challenges, and finding practical solutions to problems. Whether working independently or as part of a team, I bring a strong sense of responsibility, attention to detail, and a genuine commitment to doing my best. My role of Head Girl at my past school, St John's College allowed me to improve my time management skills as I had to balance this role alongside my A Level examinations and UCAS deadlines. I've been a ballet dancer since the age of 4 and have completed my Grade 8 aswell as my Intermediate qualification. I've also completed my RAD Assistant Teacher Training course which helped my organisational skills and highlights my dedication to teaching others. I want to teach because I enjoy helping others understand topics they once found difficult and seeing their confidence grow. Maths can feel intimidating, and I find it rewarding to break concepts down in a clear, supportive way that makes learning feel achievable.
