I am an experienced educator with over fifteen years in teaching and mentoring, now specialising in English, Psychology, and Sociology up to A-level. My academic background includes a BA in Sociology, a diploma in Counselling, ACCHP accreditation, and I am currently completing a Master’s in Psychology at the University of Portsmouth. I am a dedicated student of Mathematics and Actuarial Science with a strong passion for problem-solving and analytical thinking. I enjoy breaking down complex concepts into simple, understandable steps—an approach I bring into my tutoring sessions. Outside of academics, I have a keen interest in sports including football, badminton, snooker, and golf. I completed my GCSEs at Pinner High School, earning 11 GCSEs at grades 9 to 7, including top marks in Maths and the Sciences. Having recently been through the school and sixth form system myself, I am well placed to relate to students and provide guidance that is both up-to-date and practical. I’m passionate about teaching and problem-solving. I keep learning new techniques to solve the problems and help students in growing their area. I specialise in Maths and Physics at both primary and secondary school levels. I’ve spent years helping classmates during my own studies and guiding my own children up to GCSE levels to improve their grades. I completed my school and university education from India and I am a Engineering graduate in Computer Science. I have worked with global corporates in IT sector. As part of my academics subjects Maths and Physics have been always my favourite and I scored A* (UK equivalent) in both.

Hi, I’m Safoora, currently a second-year medical student with a strong passion for education across a range of subjects. Medicine has taught me not just the importance of hard work, but also how to communicate complex ideas clearly and patiently — skills I bring into my tutoring sessions. I tutor GCSE Biology, chemistry, combined science and psychology, as well as KS3 and KS2 Science. I understand that subjects like biology and chemistry can sometimes feel overwhelming, so I focus on breaking down difficult concepts into manageable, straightforward steps tailored to how each student learns best. I’m genuinely passionate about helping students build confidence and develop a deeper understanding so they’re fully prepared to tackle any challenges they face in exams.
