I’m Ashwini! I'm currently doing a Masters in Natural Sciences specialising in Maths and Physics. I tutor online for GCSE and A-level Maths, Physics, Chemistry and Combined Science. I love helping students get that “click” moment, turning tricky topics into something clear, confident, and even enjoyable! Lessons are high-energy but structured: we build understanding fast, practise the skills that earn marks, and get real progress. Outside tutoring I play piano, rock climb, train in the gym/boxing and enjoy art. I’m currently studying a Masters in Natural Sciences at Durham University, specialising primarily in Mathematics and Physics. My degree is highly quantitative and has given me strong problem-solving, clear mathematical communication, and the ability to break complex ideas into simple, teachable steps. This background means I’m particularly strong at teaching key GCSE and A-level areas where students often get stuck: building physical intuition in mechanics (forces, moments, energy, motion), vectors, and the maths that underpins progress: algebra, trigonometry, and calculus (differentiation and integration) taught in an exam-focused, step-by-step way. I also studied Chemistry modules in my first year, which strengthened both my subject knowledge and my ability to teach Chemistry clearly. I’m confident supporting students with the parts of Chemistry that often feel hardest: moles, organic chemistry, bonding and structure, equilibria, acids and bases, and practical-style questions where method matters. Overall, my education means I can help students not just memorise content, but understand it well enough to apply it confidently in exam questions.

I graduated with a Bachelor of Secondary Education, majoring in Mathematics, in 2013 and later completed a Master of Education in Mathematics in 2018. With a decade of teaching experience, I am dedicated to fostering a supportive and engaging learning environment that encourages students to reach their full academic potential. I utilize a variety of instructional techniques and materials, including online resources, to accommodate diverse learning styles and ensure that each student has the tools they need to succeed. My approach focuses on guiding students toward their educational goals, whether transitioning to postsecondary education, pursuing vocational paths, or achieving personal growth. I continuously assess and document both the academic and social progress of my students, maintaining thorough records and analyzing data to inform my teaching strategies. I am a patient and supportive tutor with an Agriculture Management background. Passionate about helping students understand concepts step-by-step and build confidence and able to work independently in thier learning journey. I completed a Diploma in Agriculture Management at Potchefstroom College of Agriculture and I am currently pursuing an Advanced Diploma in Agriculture Management at the University of South Africa (UNISA). My studies include Agricultural Economics, Animal Health, Soil Science, Research Methodology, Agricultural Management, Computer Applications, and Crop Production.
