I also wrote a research paper about improving teaching strategies in the classroom. After deciding to move to France, I then took a course for how to teach English online to all age groups, from young children to adults. I also completed an advanced grammar and business English course. Currently, I'm teaching Cambridge English to young children and teenagers. I help students prepare for IGCES, GCSES and A levels. I also teach ESL to all age groups. At the moment, I am learning French and I'm currently on a B1 level in my language development.

Hi, I'm Chris, a recent graduate in nuclear engineering with a love of maths and physics. I help students to build confidence and improve their core understanding of maths and physics, A-Level and GCSE. I focus on breaking down complex problems into smaller, more manageable steps which helps students understand the content along with worked examples and exam questions which helps students to solve questions in an exam and achieve their goals. I hold a Bachelor of Engineering degree from Lancaster University, specialising in nuclear engineering which involved a large amount of electrical engineering and particle physics. I also hold three A-Levels in maths, physics and chemistry from Thomas Rotherham College where I achieved an A*, A and B respectively. I also have GCSEs in maths (9), physics (9), chemistry (9), biology (9), computer science (9), geography (8), English language(8), English literature (7) from Winterhill School.

For younger students, I focus on making learning engaging and supportive so they feel comfortable participating. For older students, I emphasise exam technique, structured problem-solving, and strengthening any gaps in knowledge. Whether a student needs help catching up, preparing for exams, or simply gaining more confidence in Maths or Computer Science, my goal is always to create a calm and encouraging learning environment where progress feels achievable. I have a strong background in both Maths and Computer Science, and I have worked with students across a range of ages and learning styles. My experience includes tutoring primary, secondary, and adult learners, helping them improve their understanding of key concepts as well as their confidence in approaching challenging topics. I have supported students with curriculum learning, homework support, and exam preparation, particularly in Maths and Computer Science.
