Hello! My name is Hanfa, I'm an undergraduate student in mechanical engineering at the University of Manchester. I enjoy anything practical and in reference to logic and problem solving, and for that reason, maths and physics have always been my subjects! I enjoy anything that requires precision, more specifically knitting, henna, and drawing. You soon learn Biology also requires imagination as well as English, it's necessary to envision processes well in order to write an account on them, and my talent in imaginative writing is indeed a helping hand! I next excelled on to Loreto College, where I took Biology Maths and Physics for A-levels, I am now studying Mechanical Engineering at the prestige University of Manchester!

I am an English Literature graduate from the University of Birmingham, who is currently studying a Masters degree in Philosophy. I really enjoy English and Philosophy as they can be a really fun subjects to learn as well as teach. I found that at school my teachers made the subjects enjoyable, so much so that I got a grade 9 in my English Literature GCSE and a grade 8 in English Language as well as a grade A* in my Religious Studies A-level and a 2:1 in my English Literature degree. Therefore, I aim to help students improve their grades by making learning enjoyable because when something is difficult to learn it can be difficult to want to understand and persevere. As a tutor, it is important to understand areas of struggle and help to adapt them in a way that is more accessible to the student. I have achieved 10 GCSEs, in which I received: 1 Grade 9 in English Literature, 4 Grade 8’s (1 Grade 8 being in English Language), 3 Grade 7’s and 2 Grade 6’s. I have also achieved 3 A-levels and received: an A* in Religion, Philosophy and Ethics, an A in English Literature and a B in German. I graduated from the University of Birmingham as an undergraduate English Literature student with a 2:1 Honours and have recently graduated with a MSc in Philosophy, Mental Health, and Psychology.

I hold a Master's degree in Mechatronics Engineering and a Bachelor's in Mechanical Engineering, with a strong foundation in physics, chemistry, and mathematics. With experience in tutoring both school and university students, I focus on strengthening conceptual understanding and exam techniques. My teaching approach is structured, supportive, and tailored to each student’s learning style to help them excel confidently. I have pursued my education entirely within the British curriculum, starting with my GCE O Levels and A Levels. I hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering and a Master’s Degree in Mechatronics Engineering from the Politecnico di Torino, Italy. Throughout my academic journey, Physics has remained a core subject, both in theoretical and applied forms, including mechanics, thermodynamics, electromagnetism, and control systems. In addition to my formal education, I have gained tutoring experience in Physics, focusing on helping students understand fundamental concepts, improve problem-solving techniques, and prepare effectively for exams. My specializations include classical mechanics, dynamics, thermodynamics, and applied physics in engineering contexts. I hold a BSc in Pure Physics from Delta State University, a discipline that instilled a rigorous, first-principles command of mathematics, analytical thinking, and the fundamental laws governing the universe. This degree demanded intensive problem-solving, providing me with the expertise necessary to teach complex foundational subjects like Calculus, Mechanics, and Advanced Physics with absolute clarity and precision. Building on this theoretical base, I pursued a Masters in Business Intelligence and Big Data at the University of Greenwich, London UK. This advanced study shifted my focus from purely theoretical problems to practical, real-world application.
