Hi! I’m Mehmood, 19 years old and currently studying medicine (MBBS) at Hull York Medical School. While I absolutely love studying, I have many other passions that burn just as brightly — I’m into sports, gym, and cycling, and I’m always open to trying new ones! Some cool facts about me: I speak English, Pashto and Urdu. Also, I have a 4-year-old tabby cat called Misty, and I’m one of six siblings! I attended St. Peter's RC High School in Gorton, where I studied separate sciences, business, geography, religious studies, and core subjects, achieving 6 grade 9s and 3 grade 8s. I then studied biology, psychology, and chemistry at Loreto Sixth Form College, earning A*AB in my A-levels. During my medical school application, I achieved a UCAT score of 2750 Band 1, securing four medical school interviews and ultimately firming Hull York Medical School—where I am currently studying medicine (MBBS). Alongside my academic journey, I’ve been a private tutor for the past two years, helping students build confidence and achieve top grades in science and math. I also completed a 3-week teaching internship at COOP Academy, delivering science lessons to Year 8 and 9 students. Additionally, I’ve gained valuable clinical experience working in GP practices and hospital settings, consulting with patients and developing strong communication and empathy skills. Hello, my name is Frano, and I teach mathematics and physics at a lower level, GCSE, A-level(IB), and Higher Level. I have been tutoring maths and physics for AQA and Edexel entrance exams, and I also have experience with tutoring pupils from Primary all the way to the A-levels. Currently, I am working as a Head Tutor at the School of Mathematics. I am open to tutor students and pupils at any age level. I speak English language fluently, while the Croatian language is my native language. I am also open to teach coding and programming depending on the pupil's/student's level. My approach is very flexible, in a sense that depending on your needs, I adjust our sessions accordingly - whether you need to do drill tasks before the final exam, covering a whole topic, or solving advanced tasks. I am studying towards a Master's in Computer Science and I have completed an undergraduate degree in physics at the University of Leicester.
