Hi! My name is Amy and I’m currently studying Maths and Philosophy at the University of Leeds. I am a Maths tutor aiming to help students between KS2 and GCSE level to enjoy and understand Maths. Beyond studying, I have a passion for dancing and love to perform on stage. When I am not dancing, I also love to solve puzzles and riddles. Initially, I attended All Saints Primary School. Then, I went to Greenbank High School and received 11 GCSEs with grades ranging from 7-9. I took a mix of GCSE subjects from Dance and Drama to History and Further Maths. After High School, I attended Runshaw College. I completed A-levels in Maths, Psychology and English Literature and earned grades AAC. I also completed an AS-level in Further Maths and earned a grade C. I am currently completing a BSc Maths and Philosophy honours degree programme at the University of Leeds. I have completed my second year and will hopefully be graduating in the summer of 2026.

Hi! I’m a friendly and dedicated tutor who loves helping students build confidence and achieve their academic goals. Outside of tutoring, I’m a huge Manchester United fan — I try to catch as many games as possible and really enjoy the teamwork and strategy behind the sport. I’m also part of a competitive bhangra team, where we perform at events and competitions across the country. Being involved in bhangra has taught me valuable lessons in discipline, teamwork, and performing under pressure — qualities I bring to my tutoring sessions. When I’m not dancing or watching football, I’m a big Formula 1 fan. I love the blend of precision, strategy, and constant improvement involved in the sport. To stay active and clear my mind, I enjoy swimming, which helps me stay focused and refreshed. Recently, I’ve started learning to play the guitar, picking up my favourite songs one at a time. It’s been a rewarding challenge that reminds me how patience and practice are key to mastering new skills — just like in learning. My goal is to create a positive and supportive learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and growing their abilities. I bring energy, patience, and a genuine passion for helping students succeed. I attended secondary school at Queen Elizabeth's School, Barnet. It is a selective grammar school and consistently ranks in the top 5 grammar schools in the country. I am now studying at Kings College London University as a 2nd year medical student.

Since joining GoStudent back in April 2023, I’ve had the incredible privilege of tutoring for over two years — and what a journey it has been! In that time, I’ve not only grown as a teacher but also as a communicator, motivator, and lifelong learner. My lessons are anything but “one-size-fits-all.” Every session is designed to spark curiosity, encourage outside-the-box thinking, and make learning genuinely enjoyable. I love giving students (and their families) the chance to shape the direction of our lessons — because when learning feels personal, progress happens naturally. For me, the most rewarding part of tutoring is watching students go from “I can’t” to “I can.” Whether it’s tackling tricky topics, preparing for exams, or simply rediscovering a love for learning, I’m here to celebrate every step forward and keep that momentum going. I studied at the UCL School of Pharmacy, where I am currently preparing to sit my final MPharm exams following a recent gap period. In October 2022, I proudly graduated with a First-Class MSci in Pharmaceutical Studies, a course that challenged me academically while also sparking my curiosity for problem-solving and research. Beyond the textbooks, I’ve always believed that learning should be creative and enjoyable. That’s why you’ll often find me making colourful, artsy study notes (which are slowly turning into a revision blog!), or bringing a creative twist into my lessons to help tricky concepts click. My education hasn’t just been about exams and grades — it’s also taught me how to stay curious, resilient, and open-minded, and I try to pass that on to every student I work with.

Hi! Im Cheryl. I studied Biology, Chemistry and Sociology as A Levels and I am currently in my fifth year of Medical School. I have many years experience being a tutor and I am confident I can help you to achieve your educational goals, whatever they may be! I received 11 GCSE qualifications from Dunraven Secondary Academy. My elective courses were Sociology and Dance. I studied Sociology again at A Level along with Chemistry and Biology at La Retraite Sixth Form. I am now in my Third year of Medical school at PMU.
